Donkey is so small when you ride him your feet touch the ground I felt bad riding it in game

I know how you feel, and worse is you can't even feed or brush them, so you have to be very gentle with them. I tried hitching to see if that would at least refill their cores... I didn't seem to work...

There's also a donkey above the heartlands oil fields in the farm north east from the oil fields

Carmody Dell? * edit * confirmed; its Carmody Dell. I couldn't locate him at first but then found him sleepin next to a cow under a tree west of the barn and north of the chicken coup. He's a good boy. I wish you could pat the donkeys....

I got a donkey to spawn with a saddle once with a random event I think but i can’t recreate. I was in a posse of 7 and riding in new Austin so I think it only triggers with large posses.

It is but you need to go to a ranch and hitch at camp spawn in your horse and you can keep it yet if you fed it it won't run away.

Ya you can jump to a new session. It's not 100% but eventually he should spawn. Hope it helps
