Only five bands again, second year in a row. Got quality instead of quantity I guess but for me it was AC/DC with Back In Black and Metallica back with black. Great episode again guys.

Another enjoyable Monsters episode, enjoyed your stories, because I wasn't there! I went to four Doningtons on the bounce, (86 to 88 and 90) and also, have I missed an episode of did you fellas not to in 1990?

My 15-year-old self was there at the Belgian version of it, which took place in my then hometown Hasselt on Aug 30th of 1991. Same bill except for the Black Crowes, which was not my cuppa anyway. My first ever concerts!

Excellent episode ( as ever ) . You mentioned bands in their prime . That would be an interesting topic . Favourite bands in their prime ( not biggest album sales etc ) but prime for productivity , memorable tunes / albums / tours. KISS , Motorhead , UFO , Queen , ACDC , Scorpions or whoever are your favourites.

This was a great day out, Crüe was the main draw for me. The Wednesday before, 2 of us were at the Fourskins gig at the Marquee, best gig I’ve ever seen. Crazy, adventurous day, comparing prices. The Crüe secret show cost me £75 off a tout.

I bet that was fantastic. They did a similar thing this year prior to the Wembley Stadium show with a gig at the Camden underworld.

Great podcast as always. It was a closing chapter for Motley because grunge had come round and Vince was out. Queensryche never got any bigger and Metallica were never to be a support band again. However I'm surprised I didn't see a picture disc of the Razor's Edge being shown. It's reissue tied in with the Donington gig. As much as I'm looking forward to your recollections of 1992, I'm more interested in 94 to 96. Obviously, cross those bridges when you get there.

Cheers Mosher, great comment, loved seeing Metallica as a support band, amazing when you think what happened to them after this!!!

Thanks for watching. If you look closely Dyl does share the Razors Edge picture disk. Blink and you’ll miss it though
