Dude, your channel is based on a FREE and open source software program - GIMP, but lately you have been plugging one of the most expensive AI Graphics companies software - TOPAZ Labs. Can't have it both ways Bro. People use GIMP mainly for the reason it's free, and they come here for tips on how to best use it. Now lately you are making videos saying " Hey guys, don't use GIMP to do this, use TOPAZ because it's way better. WTH? Please stick to GIMP or kindly rename your channel TOPAZ TUT. Have a nice day.

I'am agree with you, but the tool works, and the photos looks like a 3D render. Very clean and zero noise. and 80 usd is not that much, to improve your photos. Another camera would costs like a 1000 dollars. So for me i have bought the software and i like it, and i like one time payment, try to buy something from Adobe... But as a user of GIMP he express how I was felling trying to denoise a photo, I lose details, and the noise is still there.

Why don't you propose free software such as the Darktable or RawTherapee? You are using free Gimp to promote paid software... shame on you.

TopazAI is $199, there is no way I can afford that. If I had that kind of money I'd be using Photoshop lol. Any free alternatives?

Why are you posting what I feel are anti-gimp video's on a Gimp tutorial channel? I know that Gimp can't do *everything* but the whole reason that I use Gimp is because it is opensource and free. I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't post video's for software like the one you mention in this and the last few video's, but If that is the direction you want to go please either rename your channel or perhaps make a new one. I personally found the way you presented your last several video's a bit insulting to us Gimp users. I don't know how others feel and don't usually post negative posts, but I just wanted to share how I feel. I do appreciate the actual tutorials that you have made in the past for using Gimp. I have found them very helpful.

You get what you pay for. Gimp is stuck in 1990. gimp 3.0 isn't going to magically make it better. Sure, there will be a few new features that's been available in other software for decades if you don't mind a waiting even more.

I've never felt good about uploading my intellectual property to some company for digital processing. I have to draw the line right there. There are plenty of excellent noise reduction tools in GMIC which is free and works in GIMP.

Digital noise is also created in long exposures.

Clicbait video. Coming in for a GIMP tutorial, getting a 5:08min ad fro TopazAI.

Maybe consider mentioning "AI" in your vid title. That way people can decide for themselves instead of downgrading your vids that steer people away from using GIMP who still prefer to use it. Cheers

Great software it worth it a lot, the pictures are like 3D renders, very clean and very rich in details.

Every single noise reduction tool works with a compromise between noise reduction and blur. I mean, now AI is changing everything.

Yeah. He used to like GIMP. Now he calls it - horrible, trash, etc., etc. and some of his videos are basically click-bait. He uploads a video and gives the title related to GIMP but then he says no don't use Gimp(free) use this program instead which costs $80. I mean sure Topaz programs produce some really amazing effects but why call a free program "trash" a program that is FREE of charge and quite good in many aspects. He used the words "Gimp is terrible and trash" many times in the comments. Something must have happened to Mr. Parker that he went from "Gimp is good" to "Gimp is trash". Weird, right?

2024 is approaching and GIMP 3.0 is nowhere in site. So, yeah, I still feel gimp is garbage. Vectors; nope. Adjustment layers; nope. AI removal tools; nope. GIMP is stuck in 1990. If you want to waste your time with outdated features, go right ahead.
