I saw the sweet old child of mine ....and then this came up ..wow! We will be seeing him alot in the industry!!!

I am a 44 year old tar sands mine worker. I have pushed my body so hard over the past 20 years that I am very beat up yet I don’t have time to bitch or complain about it. I have one gear and it’s go! I can worry about the pain when I am gone and faded away. That’s how I was raised. There ain’t many of us left with this attitude. This was my old man’s favourite song by Dylan. The Freewheelin’ Album is in a class of it’s own and you my friend very much did this song justice 10 fold. You brought a few tears my eye’s and brought back great memories of my old man. I appreciate it. 👊🤙🙏

I'm no expert. Just a random viewer. Yeah, "sweet child" got me here. Your young & talented. When you choose a song, practice it, get the mood incorporated, wash it away when your done playing it. ...Choose wisely, for me, I feed off the vibe. As a 130 lb freshman going to football practice with the 200+lb linemen, I needed my " first I look at the purse" j geils , to go get my starting right guard spot. Now, its Santana's Europa, as I'm a grandfather. Music soothes & invigorates the mood. Keep a balance n keep a perspective.

This is 3rd song I've heard first was 12yrs old garage. No words brother. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. IM 50 ,if my dad was alive he'd be in tears my man . His favorite thing to say to me,"that song is ok,I liked it better when Bob Dylan did it". At some point I stopped bring "new" music to him.

Very few people can cover dylan and make it as good as he does (even though he is not a great singer, he's interpretations and way of expressing music are, imo, almost unmatchable). You did it. Congrats, man.

I like your version a lot better than the original, dude. Not a big fan of Dylan's singing, but he did write some great songs.

Hey Stratton - I just discovered the G&R when you were only 12 holy smokes that was impressive. I just wanna tell ya - I'm even more impressed now. So glad to see your into some acoustic. When you get the chance go visit a guy named Corey Heuvel, (cut and paste his name) he does a 3hr acoustic live stream every Friday at 5pm eastern standard. He keeps one livestream online for a week them switches it out for the next new one. He is one of the better acoustic players I've seen. Also writing his own music, anyway check him out, I think you will appreciate his talent. He plays a lot of different material. . . It might be something you would be interested doing. I wish we were neighbors when I was young ! Your inspiring, stay humble.

For this it’s just an Avantone CV-12 for vocals and actually a Shure Beta58A on the guitar into an Apollo Twin MKII Duo. I did some compression and reverb in Logic but left it mostly natural. Thanks so much!
