as a citizen of the OKC Metro for most of my life, If you don't want to deal with tornadoes too much, You want to avoid Moore at all cost, while West Norman is the safest tornado wise.

I actually love living here because of our weather! 😃

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house in Oklahoma City, we are in California, and what is definitely scaring me is this “relationship” with tornadoes! Thanks for the video

@LaurennR if you look up niche (dot com) or great schools (dot org), you can get great school reviews of okc and the surrounding suburbs. Honestly, you'll find Oklahoma City proper public schools not rated great. That's not to say there aren't good schools within that school system. But there are great public school systems in many of the surrounding suburbs (still part of the okc metro), for instance, Edmond schools are excellent (even on a national level), and Mustang / Yukon schools are also very good.

I live in jay are close Arkansas i have been lot times okc its nice, i have been Phoenix Az kind street okc its better in my opinion

That's a great question. Living here my whole life, I would have told you no prior to 2020. But the winter storm that year had me out of power for 14 days, which is enough for me to wonder why I still don't have a generator 🤣. Might be a good idea just in case.

Oklahoma is great for introverts! We have plenty of them plus Oklahomans are so friendly that it's still easy to make a good friend even as an introvert so when you do feel like going out for coffee with a friend, you'll have no problems.

Is the humidity in the summer as bad as Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Columbus OH? Or is it more considered dry days since it's on the "dry line" Thanks!

I honestly don't know much about Lawton. It's a 2 hour drive, and around 100 miles south of Oklahoma City.

I am from Lawton born n raised off 67th street, I visit my parents every month for a weekend. People like to say crime is bad there, but its not really. This aint the 1960s nor the shenanigans that went on in the late 90s early 2000s.
