Hey Jack, just wanted to tell you that the part about the supertonic kinda missed a bit. You only play a note which doesn't produce the sound of a supertonic. It is the relation between a root note and the note a wholestep, basically two piano buttons above the starting note that produces the supertonic quality. In order to hear this you need to play the root then the supertonic! Great video otherwise

clearly a misconception in what he thought he understood. with all the technical terms in music theory? you can have attempted proper research, but inferred from it incorrectly. there's nobody with knowledge of music theory to have told him it was incorrectly inferred. someone with no background in musical theory can EASILY be confused by what they're reading. also it wasn't framed as some sort of fact, it was a statement. it irritates me how dramatic and critical people can be, HOURS and HOURS of work & effort clearly go into ALL his videos, for you to announce and go seriously ponder the legitimacy of everything he states over a misunderstanding of music theory is just obnoxious lmao.

But where he pulls the clip where Andrew Huang is playing the supertonic it is very clear from the original video that he watched that it is the relation between note's that is interesting. And i believe that the creator of this video is fully capable of understanding i think he just missed that small detail. I noticed no one had commented and wanted to leave a small pointer to what was a mistake there in a kind and well meaning fashion.

My eyes are spinning. Couldn't even get through 2 minutes. Every 2 secs there's some snappy aftereffects transition. I can appreciate the effort but oof! It's the same manipulating editing style used all across social media to keep your eyes stimulated. Same tactic advertisers use. Good editing reinforces the narrative. Ironically: this is how many tiktockers attract viewers. Talk fast, edit faster.

I don’t usually comment on KZread videos but This video is crazy, the editing and care taken into this is next level, I love how you have the old v sauce flare and I feel like you’ve been inspired those sort of videos mixed with todays style of editing, the ability to show information but hold viewers attention is amazing, keep up the work !

Freaking awesome work man!! A1 job 👏👏👏👏 Jack, you are going to be responsible for upping the standards of videos everyone makes on this platform after this lol Also I like that you mentioned how tiktoks arent usually overly produced. that explains why i always felt queasy watching "experiment toks" by YT creators. They stay in their studio with professional lighting and make the video look too fancy for tiktok. Even if it gets views, no genuine engagement happens on those. Tiktok viewers can tell when they're being experimented on

One of the most annoying parts of my 15 year career in social media is learning from kids like this. I say that with love it just annoys me that this dude knows so much more than I will with these apps. #jellyoldman

My mom hired a babysitter for my baby sis because we were always buzy, the first day was fine but after she got her phone things changed. She kept making TikTok videos and forgetting about my baby sis thinking she's sleeping, then one time our dog was barking at my baby sister. The babysitter didn't notice because she was making a TikTok video. My baby sis was really scared and luckily I got home before anything bad happened.

The supertonic 'sound' can't be expressed by a single note on its own, as you said what matters is its position in the scale. Any note can be the supertonic depending on the key of the song :)

Yo, this is some high quality content my man. I legit did a double take because this is so well done. I refuse to get TikTok. Not only is the parent company ByteDance obligated to share the data it collects from users with the Chinese government (Yikes) but it just absolutely seems like a generally bad place. With the short videos damaging our attention spans, to the content itself being... a mixed bag, to say the least, to the exposure of mostly minors to possible predators. Not a good place, imo.
