Absolutely. I love how they are steadily progressing and filling up venues. They get better (and better looking) as they get older! Breaking all of the rules! I hope you've seen them live. It IS like going to church. It's cathartic and healing.

Actually most of the stuff before this was dark and about his struggles. He's had depression, anxiety since he was young and then developed addictions to alcohol and meth. He will have 10 years clean in May. He has online AA/hang out With Justin meetings thoughout the entire lockdown. Great reaction. ⭐💙

Yes!!! Like I say, he's a success story instead of a biography. He's a hero to so many addicts, I don't to drugs or alcohol but have battled with body dysmorphia, and it comes from the same place, I watched moving on everytime I felt weak, and it actually started to change my brain and he's really hot 🔥 😉👍.

I have been watching your reactions for awhile now, love your pragmatism and openness to all things. So so glad you found Blue October. This is honestly a beautiful rabbit hole of darkness to self discovery if you are interested. I agree with others on the acoustic version of fear, and would add light you up live from Texas, the worry list, & the feel again.

The lead singer is Justin and he writes and sings all there music.they have been at it over 20 years now.if you listen from the start it’s about Justin’s life.he suffers from depression to serve drug addiction.much of the earlier music is dark and full of his pain.i can’t think of another singer that sings with this much emotion and makes you feel it.he got sober and found God and remarried.he has such a beautiful testimony and story of redemption.

I have PTSD and Panic Disorder. This song has become an anthem for me. Justin (lead singer) has struggled with mental illness and substance abuse so many of his songs resonate with me deeply. "Get back up!" Is something I tell myself often. It doesn't always work, but I keep trying.

He just found God a few years ago. I believe this is the song he wrote while in rehab. He lived and wrote many songs through addiction and during his concerts he talk about a lot about it. First time I saw them I went with a friend who was a fan I knew nothing about them... it was the best concert I have ever been to and I cried! I've never had an addiction to drugs but he has helped so many people through his music get over addiction and depression etc.

Yes. I finally got to see these guys live last October in Nashville. They are definitely one of those bands that you experience. This is the first song he wrote after finishing rehab and his and daughter being born. He didnt know this side of him existed. He was nervous about writing sober. He has now learned that joy does exist. Please check out their song HOME. I know you'll love it. Especially with the loving family you have. ❤

If you’ve never seen Blue live it’s a must. To me it’s like going to church and I get to see a band that saved my life, who gave me courage to leave situations that could have killed me. Fear live saved my life and got me to take a hard look at my demons. I’ve met my best friends through this band and I am so grateful for every lyric Justin, Matt and the guys write. Im so glad you saw this one. Thank you!!! Justin once told me “we can be happy now” it’s true, we can.

You should check out some Citizen Soldier. They have some very emotionally driven songs that imo are very relatable for many of us. I'm still early in my journey with them but their songs express alot of words not easy to say as someone who has dealt with depression. "Would Anyone Care" or "I'm Not Okay" are excellent ones.

As others have stated, his music for a long time was filled with his struggles and pain. It was on a different spectrum for sure, but no less impactful than his uplifting songs like this. Again, you should do his live or acoustic version of this song where he speaks about it before hand. He is a master storyteller.

Dude do you read your comments, it's nice to have a connection with your supporters, let them know you here them, and your voice is beautiful, Jordan peterson is an extremely intelligent mess, learn about the brain and the spirit and the body and how to bring it back together as one, Ted x talks, learning how to drain our own poison and not try and cover it over with motivational bandaids. Being real with myself suffering body dysmorphia was the only way I got better. I needed to find out what I was hiding from, I was hiding from the fact that, I needed something to hide behind, because it was easier to hide than try just to find out I was a failure no matter what, I worked through that, and without being brutally brutally honest with myself, I'd still be hiding my face like I was a ancient gargoyle that would terrify small children and anyone that had to look at my hideous face, it wasn't my outside I hated 💞💞💞💞💞👍🙂.

Okay, let's be honest.. Blue October is not light. These guys have some of the grimiest shit out there. They play hard, always have, always will. There are songs like this, where Justin uses his voice more sparingly, because he can sing and he's all about doing runs and actually sounding beautiful. He has not "found God", and Blue October is not underrated. I'm so sick of hearing that. They have created a good following through their career.. about 20 years, btw. It's been enough for them to live and do what they do. Some of us do see the great value here, to me, they have been a friend. Y'all need to listen to Light You Up, Any Man In America, Debris, The End.. his thoughts on killing his cheating wife and her mister.. get it together!
