I had a VERY GOOD cancellation story. I was booked on the NCL Jade and received an email saying the cruise had been chartered and we could either rebook or accept the charter and get 2 more days FREE in our cabin. Since we splurged to book a suite, we opted to stay with the charter. The capacity of the ship is normally 2400, but with the charter, it was only a little over 1000 guests. So, we got a reduced capacity ship that was fully staffed, 2 additional days free, and all I had to do is rebook my flights which I was able to do free of charge since they previously modified my flight. All-in-all - it worked out amazing!!!

My msc cruise from Bcn to mia was recently cxl. Msc notified all. My ship was very long and full. Changed to one that I really wanted. UK from hamburg.10 days. Excited.been to London,but never to edi or glad.taking ferries from Copenhagen to Oslo and Stockholm to Helsinki before UK cruise. Great spring for retired flight attendant!🤩😎

Great video, very good detail on NCL. I find you specific detail is great. I also watch another you tube channel that does great detail, but they focus on the experience of the cruise, they are the Cruising Canucks. They just recently had a refreshed experience with NCL that was interesting, perhaps you should contact them and do something together like a livestream and discuss the changes NCL seems to be making.

Hi Ron, first and foremost welcome to the community 👋 I'm so glad that the channel has hit the mark is providing helpful hints, tips and trick about cruising with NCL. I haven't had a chance to check out @CruisingCanucks but I shall definitely give them a look. Thanks for the recommendation!

Our first booking after restart was cancelled due to "redeployment" well ahead of sailing. NCL was great. Full re-embursement of any money paid plus 10% of the base fare in FCC. We were able to rebook the reverse of our itinerary for the better. One more day in length. Basically the same fare. Because the cruise length was now 12 days we got an extra specialty dining. We booked our flights and hotel with NCL so no problems there. We did initially opt in to the NCL premium ins but have dropped it and booked ins through our TA. We are Canadians and when I asked NCL they said their policy did cover us (except Quebec) but I called AON (Policy provider) and they said they only cover American residents.

We ALWAYS buy the insurance thru NCL. You NEVER know.

Hi Den 👋 Thanks for the question, it's a good one. I actually was reading about this recently in a Facebook group and it appears that if you ask nicely they will do this. Just keep in mind that if you're using the Premium Beverage Package, the ingredients still need to be part of the package aka under $15 USD. Do you have a favourite cocktail combination you're hoping for? Now I'm curious 😊

I will be a 1st time cruiser on NCL in Feb, and have the Free at Sea Plus package. So I am researching cocktails I might like, regardless if they are on an NCL menu. I normally drink beer, but want to explore unfamiliar drinks while I have the chance. My issue is I can’t have oranges or peaches, so that eliminates a lot of menu cocktails. Love your channel, by the way!
