What a gorgeous blue and finish! Stunning piece! Missed some input from you on the process, be nice if you could talk over some of the processes that you speed up. Segmenting, finishing, finial etc. but otherwise no complaints 👍👍👍👍

That is a great piece of work! If I had any criticism, it would be that you could do a little more explaining exactly what you’re our doing in each step. You introduce a lot of techniques and equipment and products without any explanation. For example, do you apply the dye after sealing? What steps do you have to take to get to 5000 grit sanding on the lacquer. And on and on. You are very talented, but I really couldn’t replicate what you’ve done from just watching your videos. There are just too many unexplained steps. Sorry to be a critic. I really enjoy your videos, but I’m always left with way too many questions.

Thanks and thanks for watching! I can certainly handle the critique. I get your point. I will say it started out as a mere demonstration and evolved. I agree I could have explained more. Thanks again for watching!

@@BrailsfordWoodworks You’re welcome. You and I have the same lathe! It’s just a matter of my own curiosity. I really like picking up tips from turning videos, and I get frustrated if I’m left with a bunch of questions. I appreciate your taking the time to make these vids.
