Don't Enter This Hood In Peru! 🇵🇪

"They are going to rob you!" are the words I have never heard as much as I did when I entered the Barrio of Rímac in Lima, Peru.
I was told that you can eat cow heart in Lima so that was my goal and no better place to do so than in a local area, away from the tourists.
Things didn't go as planned.
Let's Go!

I know you’re young and like to do these things and of course a lot of fans are following you but please be careful. You could have been easily robbed and moreover, stabbed, shot or even killed. No, he knew that the person warning him and telling him to go back the way he came to the tuktuk was actually planning to rob him. He was the accomplice of the tuktuk driver. He was the guy who the tuktuk driver was on the phone with earlier. Had he listened to the man's "warnings" and gone back the way he came, he would've been robbed by him and the tuktuk driver. So going down into the barrios, away from the guy "warning" him, was the safer thing to do in this situation, because going back up to the tuktuk would have gotten him robbed for certain.

Not only that but the tuk tuk had 4 phone class the door was only unlock-able on his side and it was a text where it says “victim” on the door lol. People are saying you can get robbed or killed just like that. I understand about the robbing thing, but killed? Why would they kill you? Life don’t have any value there so some people just kill you like that? An other question: on the top, there was a woman selling stuff and he bought a beer. Also, all the way, we see people like the old guy blessing him, or the people saying to him to hide the camera. Those people are not in danger? Or are they so used to it they don’t even care anymore?
