You know they used to say defense wins championships, but unstoppable offense already shows that it can win championships. If you have somebody like Nikola running it they can’t be stopped offensively he shoots lights out, and his teammate is getting dunks or wide-open threes, plus he rebounds like Dennis Rodman, in my opinion, is the best thing to happen to the NBA in 20 years
@paulmiddleton42156 ай бұрын
kudos to Jokic's team mates for constantly moving for easy shots. it would be so tempting to just stand back in awe when he is working. "sharing is caring" applies here very nicely. when role players share in the successes as much as the stars, it emboldens them to continue their efforts even further.
@brunesi8 ай бұрын
What is interesting though is that he very, very seldom cheers about anything. I've noticed he more frequently cheers about his mates point or plays. That is a most rare trait. Usually that's a trademark of people that profoundly know their field. Maybe he is indeed a genius or a savant like many speculate.

For anyone who thinks Larry Bird wouldn't dominate in today's game, I simply respond with "The Joker". The only difference, Joker (Nikola Jokić) is 1 inch taller, 60 lbs more, and slower. Both have a high IQ of the game on the floor and both are greater shooters, but giving the nod to Bird though. Joker wing span seems longer than Bird to make him more effective in the paint as a post up player.

If you have somebody like Nikola running it they can’t be stopped offensively he shoots lights out, and his teammate is getting dunks or wide-open threes, plus he rebounds like Dennis Rodman, in my opinion, is the best thing to happen to the NBA in 20 years
kudos to Jokic's team mates for constantly moving for easy shots. it would be so tempting to just stand back in awe when he is working. "sharing is caring" applies here very nicely. when role players share in the successes as much as the stars, it emboldens them to continue their efforts even further.
What is interesting though is that he very, very seldom cheers about anything. I've noticed he more frequently cheers about his mates point or plays. That is a most rare trait. Usually that's a trademark of people that profoundly know their field. Maybe he is indeed a genius or a savant like many speculate.
This guy is like video game, perfect
Imagine if he had the same passion for basketball that he has for horses

He does, just not for NBA, media circus, constant travel etc.
Gordon is going to name his first born "Nicola"
He's a f animal..Playing as a pointer and center at the same time, plus finding teammates like that...He is my countryman but I love him more because of his play style
"He just took, what the game gives him!" Amazing.
First pass. That was nasty!!!
More than half the video is Jokic-Gordon dunk. 😂
Jokic literally looks like a pro player smurfing in a rookie elo, chilling but killing

😂😂 so accurate and while not even trying to play good just as you were playing laid back eating Chips meanwhile lmaoooo
Jokic is the best thing that can happen to a player. Look at Will Barton - nobody at Raptors even close to Jokic to play with😊 I would rather take veteran’s minumum to play with Jokic than millions to be a non-factor.
jokic will break all records like djokovic in TENNIS shannon sharpe said go check the water in SERBIA i say go check the beer and rakija
this is how to play the game, period.
His decision making just so on point on time on target the ball never sticks in his hands the processing speed of his mind is insane.I remember hearing a ESPN analyst said he is the most " decisive " player he ever seen I think it’s a perfect description of Joker just unfazed with any defensive coverage you throws at him make the right play in split seconds just beautiful basketball it’s a treat to watch him play.
OMG so many beautiful passes that leads to spectacular dunks by AG. They sure work well together

they kinda remind me of nash and his teamates on the suns.
It-s ok, you can say he is a better passer than Magic and Bron without getting yelled at
Jokic has such Larry Bird vibes... Amazing passer all around. What a joy to watch.
Jokic > AG is such an underrated pairing. They are perfect for each other
The pass on 1:13 was the best one for me. Even MPJ and KCP was faked by that pass to Gordon inside the wall of defenders.
3:03 Jokic last sees Barton from where his team mate made the pass. 1 and a half secs later, Jokic totally trusts Barton has moved towards the basket and gives an absurd no look pass. So subtle.
Hands down the best NBA highlights KZread channel Thanks you for the hard work 🙏you are amazing 👏
Dad: our son will be a center Mom: no our son will be a point guard Jokic:
the amount of set plays this team has is ridiculous
Truly one of a kind!
Gordon has to do extra cardio coz Joker feeds him so much!!!
His pass suddenly opens up the game!
Jokic and Gordon are out there playing football lol.

Exactly!
Jokić & Gordon 🎉
He has great passing. He is big guy It is really hard to defend
Nuggets with Jokits has exposed that defense is an after thought in modern NBA. NBA needs players and teams that are able to defend! NBA needs players that know basketball, not just play basketball!

No it's not. Defence saves them against miami
Its insane... Every time he gets the ball, the rest of his teammates are like: - Gordon: Throw me the ball, now its my turn to score - Jamal: No, you scored the last drive, its my turn now - Porter Jr: But the next drive is for me, I want to show you all my new move Like a grown up man playing with kids in the backyard, entertaining them, sharing the ball to everybody so they are happy for a couple of hours.
The best player in the NBA
cant guard as 1 on 1 but we must not go double team.its insane nad unfair
his IQ , offensive awareness + passing
It's truly incredible, having the opportunity to watch one of the smartest players to ever play the game on my home team. For so long the Nuggets were an after thought in the conversation and now we're world champions 🏆. As young as Jokic is he has a good chance to be in the conversation for top five all-time. Or better.

US champions, not world champions.
Those AG dunks man so fire
Doubling jokic is the worst thing you can do as a basketball player
It’s not just his passing he removes the big man from the interior because his skill set so there is no one to contest at the rim
I'm a minute in. I haven't see a single double.
He passed the eye test, if he keeps winning might surpassed magic for being the best passer.
Jokic dropping dimes - Jokic baca novcice kao na svadbi.
Learning that Joker played water polo really made some of this make sense.
4:31 is just amazing. No one expected this ridiculous pass 🔥
Outstanding. Best player on the planet.
sometimes u can see where he is gonna pass and still defense can't do shut about it... then sometimes he surprises everybody, even his teammates...
His passing is out of this world, especially for a center.
dude has eyes behind his head.
A joy to watch
Lots of great passes, how many of them are the result of “don’t double Jokic”? Didn’t watch more than a minute as I’ve seen all these plays before but this video is not a compilation of Jokic passing out of double teams as the title suggests.
Im gonna miss bruce brown :(

Brown was a one year wonder and will be nothing without Jokic and then you'll see he's way overrated
don't double on jokic. also don't 1v1 jokic. :)
0:56 i love this play every time i see it. i consider kawhi one of the best defenders probably to have ever played and he just got bodied here by ag bc of the craftiness of the nuggets team. kawhi definitely out of position there but AG doesnt get enough credit for what he does both defensively and offensively for this team.
One day we've got to get him and Luka on the same team somehow
Jokic, curry, and magic are my top picks for most fun players to play with all time. Jokic and magic because when you make a cut or find some space, you're getting the ball. Curry because half the time you set a screen for him, both defenders follow him and you're walking into a wide open layup.
Dejando a los rivales como tontos, magic jokic
Best player for his team in NBA now!
BIG C with PG passing ability. Great player and great person :)
it has to be the sharp passing angles combined with incredible anticipation of motion; before it was LBJ but now the joker is the new prototype
The best!
Wonderful
I didn't know brown was that bouncy
Jokic does in basketball what Wayne Gretzky did in hockey. Their styles are very much alike. Great knowledge and sense of where their teammates will be. Will be- not where they are now.
First point center in history of NBA!
it's mesmerizing
The highly refined art known as passing the basketball. Hit the open man. 🤣😆
Genius...
best passing big man in the league!
