MPJ is a wing that only has a good manager, MPJ is 2 years older than Doncic, so he is not young anymore. His average of 16 points per game is the minimum for a max contract and 6 assists for Jokic. If the Nuggets want to advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs, they must work out the players from the bench and limit the playing time of MPJ to 10-15 minutes.

@@dragicaandrejevic2060play MPJ less..? Does he have a max contract? He knows how to play the game, and plays well with the rest of the team. Limiting his minutes is a poor decision, if he does get paid the max I do agree he’s not a max player though. That being said he’s better than anyone coming off the bench for fit with Jokic for several reasons. One being his size and height and being a solid defender all over the floor. The other being a high volume 3pt shooter with high % he shoots the 3 really well and that’s what they need alongside the rest of the team.

He was absolutely right, it's so much important to keep all the guys inwolved - that way they're focused all the time, they keep moving and trying to get to the best possible spot, knowing that the ball will come, and are not bothered of playing defense. I mean look what happened with KCP, Bruce Brown, young rookie Braun and AG - they all became so important and played some really big minutes on both ends. That's why this team is so great, they all move the ball so well and you never really know who's going to score.

@milandjukic4583 if it is pure skill, Jokic would have to pass Hakeem Olajuwon for most skilled and I don't know if he has done that yet. Jokic is a better passer Jokic might have a little better FG% Jokic can shoot the 3...Hakeem can also but was not asked to do it very often Both can shoot the Freethrow Both can score Hakeem has a fadeaway jumper Jokic has a somber Shuffle Both can shoot mid range jumpers Hakeem has a step back jumper, Jokic does not Hakeem Spin moves are faster and more effective Hakeem has better handles, Jokic has handles but in a half court set, he needs to dribble slowly and use his size to edge pass or creep closer to the paint Hakeem could cross players over nasty. Jokic does not have a crossover like Hakeem Hakeem has a more polished post with the Dream Shake, although Jokic little hook shot in the paint is highly effective Hakeem is the Greatest Shot Blocker Jokic is not Hakeem is one of the greatest Defenders Ever and can guard the Post and the perimeter, Jokic is not Hakeem has blocked 3 point shots, Jokic no Hakeem has some of the Greatest footwork for a center ever...this shown by his handles, crossovers, spin moves, fakes, and the agility to block shots and 3s Hakeem is the only Center listed in the top 10 ever in Steals. Jokic no Hakeem can control the game on both sides of the ball, Jokic controls the game only on the Offensive side with his scoring and passing. People are putting too much premium on the offensive side of the ball instead of diving into every single skillset on both Offense and Defense If you go down the list, Hakeem was more skilled Jokic just does a couple of things really great and it is mostly on the offensive side of the ball.

Even though Embid won MVP 2023 will be remembered as Joker year because he broke several records in post season which will be super hard for anyone to break exept the man itself in years to come but it won't be easy even to him to break some of these. This guy has big potential to become greater all time player than Larry Bird. Larry Bird was known for his 3 point shooting, well, Jokic in his play off career averages 41,2% from deep on more 3 point attemps per game than Bird while Bird averages maybe 35,6% or something like that on less 3 point attemps. Amd that's not even the greatest weapon of Jokic's game. Larry was also known for his incredible passing, but he averages 6,3 assists per game, Jokic averages 7,3 assists per game in his career. Larry Bird averages 24 points in his play off career, Jokic averages 27,5 points in his play off career. Larry only averages more steals and he is better from the free throw line. Jokic beats him in every other aspect of the game. Honestly, as great as Larry was, I've never seen the best version of Larry to play soo great basketball like Jokic did this year... Jokic can definitely become better player than Larry when it's all set and done. The man can be in GOAT conversation.

Murray is definitely at the allstar level. And all these bigs were pathetic (Gobert, Ayton... are you kidding me?), saved by Davis. You can consider them "certified" by looking at the current standards, the no touch era, how the level of play got weaker... but none of them were really a decent matchup, only Davis could fight in 1v1, but it doesn't matter because of the free zones Jokic will simply read the defense and destroy Davis with playmaking. Under the current rules, Jokic is literally unstoppable, it's like Jordan taking advantage of 1v1 back when zones were prohibited, nothing you can do to contain these dudes

The level of play among bigs is not that great, Jokic, Giannis and Embiid had a lot of impact, but if you compared the next bigs, they don't get even close, there's a huge gap of talent. Gobert is a complete joke, the fact he won multiple DPOYs is a legit stain in the league, the guy is ridiculed by the own players, constantly exposed in the playoffs. Do you really think Gobert is a legit matchup? Regardless, 1v1 or helping, he can't even bother Jokic. But well, if you go small, Jokic will go for the 1v1, the defense collapses and he creates a play. In the current rules, no touch, free flowing on both ends because zones runs free... you can't contain a pure playmaker like Jokic, Luka, even Harden in his MVP season, it's just too easy for them, they will read and perform the right play, always
