This is the best silver bead video I have seen so far on youtube. Very nice. Graceful. Well done.

+John Gardner And your soldering technique, which requires good torch and heat control, is much easier than the "place and chase the little squares" system. Thanks.

I really enjoyed that! It is the only video of its kind that I can find. I loved the stamp that you used, as well. The beads at the end of the video do not look like the beads that you were working on, though!

Awesome Video. You make it look so easy. I wonder what gauge silver you like best for these stunning beads

Mr. Lucas - Your jewelry is famous in the store I work at - Silverado Jewelry Gallery in Oregon. This video is fabulous! What gauge are the silver discs you use? They look like maybe 20 gauge. I just made some 1/2" disc beads with 26 gauge - it was my first attempt and they turned out pretty good…… but maybe not as round as I would have liked. Thanks for your inspiration and jewelry! Terry

I have trouble sanding enough to get perfectly joining surfaces. So when I solder, t have a gap or two, which mostly disappear after a lot of finishing. Since I make only for myself or friends/relatives, I'm still happy happy with lack of perfection. Cheers.

The photo of the necklace is different to the beads. Did he flatten them to get that shape?

Nice work...!Were did you get that half round dipping block.?
@shirleymason76977 жыл бұрын
Beautiful. Thanks. This is what I'm doing now, or I should say - learning. I'm going to have to drill holes first, because I can't control the drill bit when drilling the half-round silver. Some went quite well, then I drilled right through the side of my finger. Thank the powers- that be that it missed my fingernail.
