How to Make a Hollow Silver Bead Using a ~Queen Puabi~ Die Former- No Hydraulic press or expensive equipment required! All you need is one of my ~Queen Puabi~ Collection die formers, a hammer and annealing. I have reclaimed the method ancient goldsmiths used to create gorgeous silver or gold hollow beads and forms, low tech and easy and effective! The process to make silver or gold hollow beads with my die formers is the same whether goldsmithing or silversmithing.

Be still my beating heart! Estruscan and Byzantine styles are some of my absolute faves. I have looked and I want them all (full set syndrome!). I know, RIGHT!? I never liked the dies you could buy because the designs were not it. Now I can make all the ancient designs I always wanted. 🥰You are very welcome in the studio anytime and I’m have a die making workshop on June 22nd, just FYI. I am a tequila girl but I’m sure we will get along famously 😃

So glad you like them! I usually fuse my fine silver but you can solder them if you prefer. :)
