Hey from Ohio, I drove yesterday almost 2 hours from home to buy my first cuff bracelet made by you. I'd seen it listed on local Marketplace and I reached out to the seller about 6pm on 3/3/23 and told him " Mr I know holds aren't allowed but I gotta have that piece and I'll be there around 10am tomorrow if you'll have it☺️" he argeed and it sure is pretty ❣️ I lost daddy summer of 2021 and inherited my grandmother's jewelry through him and she was Apache actually born and raised on reservation. Going through her jewelry has been a way for me to get to know her ( she'd passed right before I was born) I'm hooked on native American jewelry 💙💚 the cuff you made though I haven't seen another one like it. It has stamp work and 13 saw tooth set stones. Red ( I'm thinking are coral and lime green turquoise, Onyx and my favorite are the heart shaped Lapis Lazuli stones. The detail of this cuff it's a fine piece ❣️ just today I've had so many reactions to it some asking how much but I buy and I keep 😁

Anyone remember 1974 the Mesa in Malibu, California on the corner of Porsthead road and Pacific coast hwy! Steve McQueen on his husky 250 aka: Harvey Mushman! I remember I was only 12 years old my dad bought me a brand new off the showroom floor from Horizons Unlimited motorcycle shop a TM 25OL SUZUKI 1974 model. Back in Malibu at the Mesa was a mix of dirt bike riders and Tom girls riding Horses! By the way, Horses and Dirt bikes don't mix so well! I can remember I was climbing apart of the Mesa at a 45 to 50-degree angle at times! Just after reaching the summit on top a Tomboy girl with long red hair and her Horse blindsided me around a bushy trail! We had a head-on collision with each other! She and her Horse were unscathed from the crash I, of course, was not!!! I was only 12 years old! All I can remember of that day as I was laying down on my right side reaching with my left hand to reach the kill button on the left side of the handlebars! Purple blue sweet Redfuma 2 stroke oil fumes were filling the air!!! It had a sweet smell like when you first crank up your BBQ grill on a weekend! My 250cc 2 stroke was at full throttle! And racing fuel was pouring out on me! Anyway readers... The Horizons Unlimted motorcycle shop was located in the San Fernando Valley they were Penton/Suzuki dealership! The Husqvarna shop was right down the street in Thousand Oaks Ca! I use to ride at the Mesa there with a bunch of blond surfer kids watching a million dollar body no one never knew who Steve M was on his Husky. We were all amazed at his riding skills! My mom and I one day were shopping at the local Malibu market Grocery store in 1974 and we saw and met his wife"Ali" MacGraw there and we were amazed when she said oh my husband is riding his motorcycle right across the street at the Mesa! How old school can you get! LOL! moto memories of VMX!!! On the way to San Fernando Valley, my folks and I saw the movie set of the Planet Of The Apes Catapult and Wagons off to the side out in an open baron field right off of Kanan Road. Thank you for posting!

Thanks for the comments. It was actually around 1977 or 1978. 125cc intermediates. Shot with Super 8. The altitude kicked your ass. Some of the pros had oxygen. The other footage was either at Lamore Ca or Hanford. Great track.

I have not seen it all, but the bikes tell me it is more like 74-75. I say that because the RM's YZ's and CR's were pretty dominant and more advanced in 77, and I don't see any YZ mono-shocks or red CR's here.

I have trouble sanding enough to get perfectly joining surfaces. So when I solder, t have a gap or two, which mostly disappear after a lot of finishing. Since I make only for myself or friends/relatives, I'm still happy happy with lack of perfection. Cheers.

Beautiful. Thanks. This is what I'm doing now, or I should say - learning. I'm going to have to drill holes first, because I can't control the drill bit when drilling the half-round silver. Some went quite well, then I drilled right through the side of my finger. Thank the powers- that be that it missed my fingernail.

Again, Mr. Lucas - Your work is amazing, as I said in a previous comment in your Navajo Pearl episode. I am a jewelry maker also. I am in love with your collection of stamps that you have. I have made a few stamps of my own, but the designs seem to be limiting, if you don't know what you're doing. Would you ever made a video about making some of the stamps you use. I love all of the native american stamps and have quite a few, but, again, finding larger unique ones is difficult. Thanks again for your video - just so inspiring! Terry

Mr. Lucas - Your jewelry is famous in the store I work at - Silverado Jewelry Gallery in Oregon. This video is fabulous! What gauge are the silver discs you use? They look like maybe 20 gauge. I just made some 1/2" disc beads with 26 gauge - it was my first attempt and they turned out pretty good…… but maybe not as round as I would have liked. Thanks for your inspiration and jewelry! Terry
