Hey everyone, I hope you enjoy my interpretation of MA Caelum. I have played them a few times and have enjoyed them very much, hopefully this video will help influence people to expand their nation pool by trying them out! Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe.

    17:50 as far as I know, upkeep should correspond to the recruitment cost (very sure, but don't really know), so I've put the upkeep divided by recruitment cost of a 10 gold unit, a 15 gold unit and the mammoth into my calculator and it says: upkeep per year is 0,8 or 80% of the recruitment cost for all three of them, so that seems to be the likely standard of dominions 5 (at least for MA Caelum, its 8 gold unit with 6 upkeep is actually 75%, but that appears to be a rounding error and the sacred units behave like 10 gold ones despite costing 20, but again, sacreds are half upkeep), to be sure I've paused writing this and calculated all of its commanders as well and it's the same result: 0,8 and 0,4 for sacreds, after watching the video to the end and building my pretender, I will calculate at least one unit from another nation but am quite sure that it'll be the same unless it's a slave, if I don't edit this, then it means either it is the same or I forgot it...

    15:07 the Iceclad has a map move of 18 as the ice hauberk gives him a map move penalty of 2, instead the mammoth has 20 (who'd imagine), of the commanders most have 20 or 22, but the high seraph has 18 due to his old age penalty of -4, but remember that old age is something that could happen to everyone and the Caelian Seraph is only 5 years away from it (there's some randomness to starting age, but I don't know s*it about it, the Caelian Seraph could probably random to start old or the High Seraph as not old, I don't know)

    Even with the map move of 20 the mammoths will still not be able to keep up with your army since they don't have the flying tag. Since they don't they it will cost them more points moving to place to place. This would cause them to not be able to keep pace with your highly mobile army.

    23:17 storm immunity kinda is if it works how I think it does, as Caelum you're a big storm caster that wants it up in nearly every battle, so casting perpetual storm might be something you'd consider, if that doesn't force the scout to walk by foot is an definite advantage as flying gets around some walking through enemy territory penalties if I remember correctly

    34:24 with air 4 one can forge the winged helmet, become air 5, forge a Bag of Winds and with that you look at over a quarter of your High Seraphs being potentially air 6, one out of 160 even air 7 (hello Fata Morgana at that point btw), tough I'll admit that 25 and 40 gems aren't cheap enough to equip many mages like one could do with water boosters (btw a 5 and a 15 water gems item make your Ice Crafters into full sized water elemental casters that can go underwater, add a water lens and they can do it infinitely, being able to go conquer the water with like teams of 5 mages you spent around 20-25 gems on for gear is good and Ice Crafters have even a discount on making said gear, with giving them a water bottle instead of the water bracelet, they'd have an additional water elemental and underwater they can summon water power to still summon a full sized one, so yeah, water nations aren't safe from Caelum, especially if someone gave them dwarven hammers) (ps. a pretender that can make a staff of elemental mastery, a ring of wizardry or a robe of the magi would guarantee that you can cast Fata Morgana if you want)

    @@rck7985 well, the first things I wrote are just what can High Seraphs do on their own and the pretender part was what are the minimum things a pretender needs to make a High Seraph cast Fata Morgana, I don't believe that your pretender having that invalidates this information as people won't and shouldn't just copy all designs but think up their own and I think getting that high air without pretender makes Fata Morgana as a good defensive but even better unrest reduction spell worth it (everyone can blood hunt and unrest reduction is just great for that), then the whole part about possibilities with Ice Crafters and getting underwater wasn't in the video at all sure, all of what I've written are just random thoughts, but I think they're worth considering as they are fun and that's why we should play, to have fun the starting poin of my comment was about that Caelum can have higher then air 4 mages rather easily (in context to the air elementals spell), the rest was just added on, just my train of thought and yes again, it's not about that you should include this in your pretender but why could having something like that on the pretender give an additional benefit you might didn't consider before

    21:43 how? this is the first time that I hear about it, the biggest gods I saw were 6, enlarge doesn't work on size 6 and there can only be 6 size points per square without formation fighter I mean seriously how, if it's possible then I want to know, all I do in this game is watching guides and building gods, if there's a meme then I make a build for it (if it's interesting and obscure enough I might even test it, only against the AI of course)

    I play MA_Caelum as Angara Mainyu (Dormant) D6T3C3F3M3 (Turm is ok as you get more gems (and items) out of luck and magic 3 combo events, and you need gems more than gold (-_- ) ) F4D4B4 Bless: SM(1F) MFR(3F) WW(4D)BS(4B) __________________________________________________________________ Daeva is good trade. Its flying sacred feared demon (hello darkness my old friend). Jahi is ok (but need some items). P.s For Caelum MA is worst off ages -=\_(T_T )_/=-
