McDuffie, Karlaftis, Cook, Chenal, Watson, all hits, all played a lot last year and are now high quality players. Also added Bolton, Gay and Sneed a year before that. Chris Jones still championing the D line. This defense just has pro bowlers all over the place now. No weaknesses. Good scouting adding Reid and Edwards as well. Of course, investing so much in the defense has its downsides, Chiefs receivers are straight ass this year, but they weren't great last year either and still won a superbowl. Defense came up big in the playoffs as well. Let's see how it goes this year, if they win again I predict a downturn in the money wide receivers are getting

Start by starting Rashee Rice. Then scrap the play not to lose keep it close and rely on Mahomes to win every game late philosophy. And allow Mahomes to use the no huddle uptempo offense a bit more while at the same time calling a few more of his own plays. And use his legs to roll out buy time and pick up a few more 1st downs/ scoring drives.

It's interesting. This Chefs team may be the most well rounded team the Chefs have had in a good while. In the 90's, the D was outstanding but the O didn't carry it's weight. In the early 2000's, the O was outstanding but the D lagged. This year's team is not as prolific as the last couple of years but they are good enough and the D is holding their own very well.

Coaching matters most. Adjustments. Start by starting Rashee Rice. Then allow Mahomes to punish defenses by using the no huddle hurry up utilizing all his gifts to include his arms, legs, and brain. Imagine how many times defenses would be forced to burn a time out. Or jump off sides or have the wrong personnel in for certain plays.

Questionable play-calling decisions by McDaniel in the last drive. Tyreek was not his usual self with drops and fumbles. Tua was decent in the 2nd half, but that first half was atrocious. He was in Tua Tebow mode during that first half where he could barely complete a pass. My biggest issue with him is that mental short circuiting that happens in situations with lots of pressure. It's a mental thing, not a matter of whether he can make a throw or not. That snap on 4th and 10 was not a bad snap. It looks like a complete lack of focus, and the reason I know is because they needed to burn a timeout right before it to save a delay of game. If you look at that play, Waddle was running wide open. Just handle the snap and you have a TD. I think the pressure of playing in Germany against the best team of this entire era in the NFL was just too much, which is far more alarming than any other issues the Dolphins have.

The throw to Cedric Wilson, Tua threw it before he made his break and it’s pretty obvious Wilson was supposed to come back to the ball. If Wilson does this then it probably would’ve been a completion bc the defender wasn’t looking at the ball. Not as easy is casual fans think. Of course he looked wide open deep after Tua already made the throw because of the miscommunication.
