35 year of being a fan before we got Big Red. There were some great prospects but we just never really had what we have now. The Alex Smith era looked promising but Alex was a bit too conservative. Trent Green had us so excited but the league was head hunting him for some reason. When Shottenheimer was coach he turned us into one big family 🫡 we loved Vermiel and Gunther too… Big Red had a plan and Patrick and Travis made it real. I love defense too and bringing in Spags was genius. He has been there and has a good plan too

⁠ hopped on the bandwagon but I stayed away from football until 2017. However, when I was five or six and got a gift for Christmas from my grandmother it was a chiefs beanie. Therefore, I feel like it had to be the chiefs 😅.

Happy 28th birthday to the greatest Chiefs quarterback in franchise history, and the best quarterback in the NFL. Chiefs fans haven’t seen a guy like this in 30 years. The closest the Chiefs got to the Super Bowl was having Joe Montana in 1993. Trent Green was exciting but man our front office just didn’t do a good enough drafting defense. The 4 down and 9 play is one of my favorites because the scrambled to his right and threw it across his body down the field to Tyreek Hill for a TD. My other favorite play is the spin move and dodge around two Tampa Bay defenders with a toss to CEH for a score.
