It's the only incompletion I'm aware of that makes every highlight package. It even made the NFL's 100 best plays. Unreal. If the dude had just caught it rather than letting it bounce off his face mask it would be the best pass in history.

My all time favorite pass is his first career completion. In Denver, 3rd & 10, to tight end Demetrius Harris. It was a dime. Such a money throw & that’s when I knew. I’d hoped & hoped with all the cool stuff he’d done in the preseason, but that was when I KNEW. I get chills just thinking about it.

As a former D-lineman, chasing Patrick Mahomes around in the backfield would have been my worst nightmare come true. I absolutely lived to sack QB's, but even all pro defensive ends & linebackers can't nail him. Worse, his decision making under stress is Green Beret Team Level. In addition to being smart & resourceful under pressure he can & does find the open man more often than most guys who just pitch from the pocket. Holy cow!

@@hugocolin8114 - It's unreal. I moved to KC one year before Mahomes was drafted. Seeing the transition to championship caliber was something special, but it was especially awesome for all the fans who put up with decades of falling short.

In the end, Mahomes will be the best and the greatest to ever do it.

He might go down as the most talented but there’s no way he goes down as the overall greatest. Brady currently has more rings than any one nfl franchise, he’s untouchable. Mahomes isn’t even in the conversation until he’s got at least 4 rings.

Any fool that doesn't think Mahomes is quite simply the most talented QB in the history of the game should watch this. Great video. The film of his highlights to get into Canton might be 30 hours long. The Kingdom is blessed to have him.

He threw a 75 yrd TD to Tyreek in a preseason game against the Falcons and I swear it's the greatest throw I've ever seen.

It could be that…& another way to look at it since I don’t see it mention this just further dismantles the naysayers that think only #10 & #87 made this guy who he is. He’s capable of getting everybody even the water boy involved. Yet they still refused to pull those ‘ray-bias’ shades down for a sec to see it. This offense is not “that deep”, and not just any QB can get behind this unit and duplicate the magic that’s already been. Maybe replicate at best.

Mahomes highlights not tyreek hill highlights, there are great plays such as when tyreek jumped over 2 defenders to catch the td but that isn’t a mahomes highlight in a sense

His first season had an entire career already. He already has cemented that Sandy Koufax vibe, of knowing it’s one of the best runs ever.

I appreciate this comment so much. As a huge Mahomes fan I often think of teams like the jets , who can't even draft a single qb that has become great....even Namath was just slightly above average. I feel so bad for you guys. Everybody thought that sam darnold would change all that but nope. There has been something like 200 good QBs in the last 45 years and the jets have none of them

#20 is always the one that sticks out to me. Incredible arm strength 💪

I'm 3 min in (27-20), and three things have come to mind. First, an incomplete pass was higher than some complete one haha and imagine if it was completed for a td, probably number two? My favorite is definitely #2. Most surpring is that you don't see Tyreek until #6 but then he's 6, 5, 4 and 1

I mean, sure, but that play in particular gave the chiefs a chance to win the Super Bowl, and Mahomes is the one that recommended it.

Just imagine how long this highlight reel will be a few years from now!

I raised my kids in Colorado and cheered for the Broncos for years - but I grew up in Kansas City and in my heart I will always live in Chiefs Nation. This highlight real was fabulous. Patrick is fabulous. So fun to watch, thank You.

I don't follow any kind of sports, though I was encouraged to watch the documentary about the NFL quarterbacks with what they go through. During the documentary I found myself having immense respect for Patrick Mahomes. Not because he is a great player, but because I have never seen anyone bring together a team like he does. His communication and spirit and how the players respect him. I also enjoyed this video on his 27 plays and shows you how he brings the best out of the team. He is amazing. Now I always look on Sky Sports (UK) to see when he is playing to support the team in my own way. Simply amazing man, and amazing team! Go the KC Chiefs !!!!

10 or 8 are my favorites. It’s a reminder of the out of this world stuff he is capable of when he doesn’t have a hurt ankle. We didn’t see these types of crazy moves/dancing around in the AFC Championship and we may not see them in the Super Bowl either. The way he moves around out there and manages to complete passes under pressure… no other human being could do that. Only Mahomes.

Im convinced by the time this guy is done there's going to be a 1 hour long highlight reel.

Maholmes is a very special talent. I just can't believe the disrespectful comments people make in regards to his talent.

Why couldn't have D Williams caught that pass that hit him right in the face mask. It would have cemented it as the best pass ever. Superman throw.

For anyone who doesn't know why #1 is what it is, it's not just the throw itself, it's everything that came behind it. As you saw, Patty HIMSELF called this play. But what you didn't see is that Patty is the one who told Hill to keep running forward, changing the normal route because he knew they wouldn't see it. He KNEW Hill would be open in that spot, and he knew he just needed enough time to get it there, that's why he stepped back like 15 yards. Skip loves to trash that play but it was truly magical, from conception to execution, and it's part of WHY Patty was the MVP of that game 💯
