Dolph Lundgren: The more I cheated, the more my wife spent my money

Ойын-сауық

Swedish actor, filmmaker and martial artist Dolph Lundgren says his finances diminished 90% from 1997 - 2007, fueled in some part by his then-wife Anette Qviberg. Dolph remembers feeling that his wife was impartial about his infidelity, so long as he continued to pay off her remarkable monthly credit card bills (roughly $60K per month) and bought her exotic cars.

    @@AEthelingg Exactly. Cheating can be incredibly hurtful and comes from a very negative place. It should not be confused with an open marriage situation either where both people have come to an agreement and are comfortable with pursuing such a lifestyle without lies or deceit involved. Ultimately, it's about finding a way to be happy without hurting anyone as a consequence. If the marriage is an unhappy one, your ability to be a good parent and provider to your children will inevitably be impacted even if you don't realize it at the time. That's not good for you, your spouse, or the children who are caught in the crossfire.

    A lot of women now/back in the day didn't care enough to leave toxic men as long as they are financially taken care of. From what I've seen from family members, coworkers and friends is they willingly stay in toxic relationships/marriages for either finances or don't want to be single, don't want to start over or be divorced. If they willingly stay and put up with bullshit that's on them. The cheater has to deal with their consequences too from STDs, HIV, child support for side piece babies, homicidal side pieces, wife divorcing, job loss from cheating with coworkers and etc. These kids are the real victims in all this because they had to live in the after math of their parents foolishness.

    Honestly, when you are that famous and have that much money and are handsome, most of those relationships are not going to have "normal" rules. I would think there are very few monogamous relationships in Hollywood.

  • @notsoberoveranalyzer8264

    @notsoberoveranalyzer8264

    Жыл бұрын

    @@wantutosigh1117 Another major factor is that he’s not American, and wasn’t raised in the USA. While yes, much of the US population was directly from EU, those who originally came were fleeing the social norms ( and the social norms were heavily influenced by Christianity.), and EU & Americans are going to be quite similar in values, and beliefs. There are still differences. Like where as America is incredibly religious, and has so many Christian’s having grew up in Germany it was extremely odd to hear people openly admitting to believing in God, and Christianity. ( monogamy is an incredibly important concept in Christianity. Also in other religions.) But, your point is still far more important. The level of success of this man, the fame, his wealth and attractiveness ~ He is above average in all of these individually, so of course his relationships are going to greatly differ. But, it’s between him and his partners. Just like in every relationship, you’re going to have certain understandings between you two. And it’s not for the rest of the world to dictate that, it’s purely up to you two. That’s kinda a big aspect of getting married. Some people can work through problems that others can’t. Even if you look at the term “Cheating” its definition varies person to person. Some think cheating is having a physical relationship outside of your partner. Others, think that even if you have a physical relationship with others, but so long as you don’t fall in love with said person, become friends with them, or date them, that it’s not cheating. While others think, if you don’t have physical relationship is cheating but that you become extremely close to that person. Others think watching porn & hiding it is cheating. Some ~ So long as you told them, and asked for permission, it’s not. People used to stay together through thick and thin, through better and worse. If the husband or wife cheated, they’d work through it. Not always, but much more then today. It’s such a subjective term. It’s wild to put your own values onto others. Edit: The reason it’s ridiculous, is because we share a common language, so we can communicate nuances. English speaking countries celebrate individualism. But mainly it’s absurd because they don’t know Dolph and his wife personally. As it’s similar to an American, whose never so much as left their city or state, trying to tell a man who was born and raised in Korea about Korea, what Korea’s good points, bad points and what it needs to change are and what South Koreans feel/think about North Korean defectors. Which everyone can have an opinion, but that doesn’t mean your opinion has any value. And if someone can’t speak Hangul, know what DPRK means. They probably shouldn’t be judging, what a South Korean thinks/does. ( I got oddly specific. It’s just to point out how silly it is, when people make these absurd statements about complete strangers relationships.)

    Marriage is made in Heaven so is Thunder and Lightning. One of my wedding vows:- Ignore Me At Your Peril. God was showing off when my Husband was made, he is kind, loving and gentle. We tease each other as Laughter is a constant theme in our Lives. When his Father passed away we built an apartment on our land for his Mummy if she felt sad or frightened living alone. I owe her a huge debt of Gratitude for giving birth to my Husband. My Parents loved each other to distraction. We played golf in the winter and spent the summer at our vacation home by the ocean. I am beyond grateful each and every day for the Life we have made together. Australia
