I lost my precious husband of 27 years just 2 years ago. We didn't meet until I was 50 years old. I had a hard life until I met him and he treated me like gold. I miss him like crazy and look forward to being with him in Heaven. Don't feel sorry for me though........not everyone gets to have those wonderful"Rocking Years" that we had! One of the great country duets, the chorus is so killer! Dolly has so many gifts, and being a duet partner is among them. Her late brother Floyd wrote the lyrics.

I just found out recently this was my NaNa’s favorite song. She passed in January. I feel so lost without her as I’m sure the whole family does. But since I’ve learned this information, I’ve gravitated to Dolly to feel closer to my nana.

I've always loved Dolly. But now I've had a new renewed love for her. Found out my Papa really liked her. (There was years & years of distance and rare communication between him & I.) Unfortunately he passes pretty suddenly on Sunday Jan 17 at 8pm after holding on tough for 4 days. 50 years Granny & him have been married. Too many years were lost. Speak and hug your family. Life is so short. Love ya, Papa. R.I.P. Thanks for bringing me closer to my Papa, Dolly. 💙

My wife and I have been together since 1992 we got married in 1993 Dec 11th . This was our song and still is .

Dolly is one in a million...Her style of music stands the test of time

So, here we are in our rockin' years and what a ride it has been. Only the Sheltering Arms could have made it so and we expect those very arms of our Father to carry us through, even when we don't always look to Him as we should. Thanks be to God and praise the Lord for our many blessings.

We have 46 years together and I have to say wow it has been one heck of a ride as well . We used to say this song was us, but these past years has been testing us really bad. I am really praying we can still work this rescent obstacle out that is trying to tear my world apart. My rocking chair and is really broken right now.
