A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZread. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZread I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZread won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZread channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

She was on Porter Wagner's show and had decided to go out on her own and leave Porter. She wrote it as a good-bye to the man who helped her get started. Several years later, Porter fell on hard times and she bought his music portfolio to help him so he wouldn't have to sell to strangers. When he got back on his feet, she returned his music rights to him. THAT is the kind of person she is!

He was really mean to her as well after she left his show. He sued her, was rude about her in interviews.... all that kind of stuff. She never let that get to her, bought his music catalog when he went bankrupt and gifted it back to him, sang this song to him on his death bed and was there with him until he passed so he wouldn't feel alone. She really meant the words to this song.

First of all. Dolly Parton was born January 19,1946 in Locust Ridge Tennessee. Dolly Parton wrote and sang "I will always love you" in 1973 but was not released until 1974. Whitney Houston was born August 9, 1963 in Newark New Jersey. That means that Dolly Parton was about 27 years old when she sang and wrote "I will always love you and Whitney Houston was just a little bitty girl of about 10 years old. Ok? Goodnight.

"I Will Always Love You" is a song written and originally recorded in 1973 by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. Her country version of the track was released in 1974 as a single and was written as a farewell to her former partner and mentor of seven years, Porter Wagoner, following Parton's decision to leave The Porter Wagoner Show and pursue a solo career. Parton's version of "I Will Always Love You" was a commercial success. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart twice. It first reached number one in June 1974, and then in October 1982, with her re-recording on the soundtrack of the movie version of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Thus, she achieved a number one position twice with the same song, a rare feat that Chubby Checker had done previously with "The Twist" becoming number one in 1960 and again in 1962. Whitney Houston recorded her version of the song for the 1992 film The Bodyguard. Her single spent a then-record-breaking 14 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is one of the best-selling singles of all time. It also holds the record for being the best-selling single by a woman in music history. Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" re-entered the charts in 2012 after her death, making it the second single ever to reach the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 in separate chart runs. The song has been recorded by many other artists including Linda Ronstadt, John Doe, Amber Riley, LeAnn Rimes, and Sarah Washington, whose dance version reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart.

The man at the end of the song (Porter Wagner) was her manager. She preformed on his weekly show and with him in concert. When she became a bigger star then him he refused to let her out of her contract. After finally having enough she went home and wrote this song. The next morning she sat him down and sung it for him. His response was “Okay I’ll let you out of your contract on one condition. I get to produce this song. She agreed and the rest is history. Whitney Houston covered the song. After hearing it Dolly said that it was no longer her song It was Whitney’s.

Dolly wrote it and sang it for the man (Porter Wagoner) she was talking to at the end of the video, Whitney covered it later. Porter Wagoner gave Dolly her start in the music business and she was a regular on his TV show. When she decided to go out on her own, he was really upset and this song was to smooth things over with him.

In 1974 I got married and moved from MN to Gulfport MS with my husband who was a navy seabee. I met one of the locals and in talking with her she asked me did I like country music. I said I really wasn't familiar with it at all but there was one song I was hearing on the radio and liked a lot. She asked me what it was and I hummed a little because I didn't remember the title or know who the artist was. She said, "Oh, that's Dolly, everybody loves Dolly."

Another interesting story behind this song has Elvis involved. Elvis wanted to record “I will always love you” and Dolly agreed. On the day of the recording, Dolly received a call from Elvis’ manager who informed Dolly that Elvis would only recorded the song if he received half the publishing rights. Dolly already had a number one hit with this song, and she knew giving half the publishing away was not a good idea. So simply Dolly said no to Elvis. Today, Dolly owns her own publishing company, record label, production company and her massive theme park, DollyWood. Dolly is a shrewd business woman. She knew her worth and still does.

She made a bunch of money off this song when she released it. Then she made a bunch when Whitney redid it and got a Grammy too as songwriter. Then when Whitney died she made more millions off of it as everyone started downloading it. I remember her Grammy acceptance speech where she thanked Whitney for making her rich. Dolly has a wicked sense of humor. She used to always tell everyone "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap!"

She felt she needed to move on from him as she felt she'd hit a roadblock with him but he didn't want to let her go from his TV show or from being his duet partner. She said she wrote this song for him to help him understand her feelings towards him and how she would always be grateful to him.

You will find many have covered Dolly’s songs over the decades as she is a legend. Glad you are discovering her. Dolly’s favourite song is Coat of Many Colours and it is a true story of her childhood. I highly recommend you react to it. It’s beautiful.

Dolly wrote and sang it before Whitney. She wrote many famous songs that others sang. Did you see Whitney singing this in 1974? Dolly recorded it and released it in 1973. So Whitney was almost 10 if you think it was her song when she recorded it. Those were the days when Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston was one of Elvis’s backup singers. Whitney talks about going with her mother to meet Elvis when she was a child. In the video Elvis and the Black Community. Part 2, watch Part 1 first. Dolly’s best songs were about her life as a child. Like, Coat of Many Colors. I love one she did called Love Is Like A Butterfly.

She is the sweetest she is humble and generous and a boss lady ! she gave Whitney permission to use it she said Whitney could take all the credit but Dolly Wood take all the royalties.😊 She was flattered that Whitney wanted to use it she did however turn down Elvis Presley because he wanted to remake her song.
