I just bought a Dr.Trainer Dog Training Collar for my German shepherd. This Training Collar has auto retractable and will not cause irritation to my dog's neck. Also I can record my voice to the system, I can use my voice recording to train my dog, say goodbye to the traditional beep sound for good. So far it seems really effective. All I do is pressing the voice recording button to correct my dogs behavior. We hardly have to use the shock setting.

Low level shock is less distressing to the dog than the vibrate. The chirp noise is the key to the whole operation here. 1000 yard range makes training recall a breeze

I just order one for my chocolate lab.. was also very hesitant but we live near a interstate with the same kind of problem. Have a fence but she jumps it with ease. About a year old and still haven't been able to prevent her jumping and running off without putting her on a chain. I hate to do that. Really curious as to how this worked for you?

We love it. We rarely put it on. But we put it on every once in awhile. and just use the beep sometimes the vibration. He got shocked once and he knows now. The little chocolate lab she's still young we haven't put it on her yet.

I love it. Will be buying another for my other lab. I only beep and he gives full attention. He needs a little reminder. Never use shock just beep, sometimes vibrate when he's really playing hard and can't hear me.

Hi, I was wondering how this collar has been since you bought it. Does it still work? Is it really easy to use? Does it actually work for your dogs or do they ignore it?

Works great. You have to watch however the collar battery. In the beginning when your train the dog you use it more. We have only used the shock once. We mostly just use the beep and he responds fine.

It may be shocking, but on a low setting that the dog doesn't feel it. There are many settings all the way from 1 to 99
