@@hammadulhassan30 same, I have the oral minoxidil medication on my nightstand and haven’t taken it yet. Both my doctor and pharmacist have been sending me soo many emails about the dangers of taking it for hairloss. I read in their emails that heart lesions were found on the lab mice that were given it, heart palpitations can start. Basically, I don’t want to damage my heart because of my vanity. 😂 I don’t know why my doctor even wrote the prescription if she was just going to send me emails about it later on, I didn’t even ask her too, and then my pharmacist decides to send me emails on it. Idk what to do now

@@Hundura Its good as it regrows hair and gives them some volume. But most people who use it have hairs on their forehead, their cheeks, neck, ears.. Secondly. My cousin bought it and used it, after 2 months he got some results. But after 4 months he stopped it. And now again his bald patches are visible now... 😂🤣i am stucked in between people's suggestions who got good results and bad one's. 🥲

It was only done on cells at concentrations much higher than what even normal doses of Minoxodil are used. If you're using a low dose for hair I'm sure you'll be totally fine.

In general, prodrugs are used to improve the absorption of the drug into the bloodstream and enhance their bioavailability. Minoxidil, the inactive form of the drug may potentially have less systemic side effects or maybe its sulphate is metabolised by the liver more severly which would lead to a minor drug effect.

I used it for my hairline and it’s coming back very slowly so I would say it does work

I read that oral Minoxidil can work better than topical minoxidil for people that are lacking the enzyme in the scalp. Apparently the liver activates the enzyme when taking the oral minoxidil. Would you be able to confirm this Dr. Gary? Thank you.

I've had no noticeable side effects from it

My own hair thickness was very lower as if i compare it to last year due to smoothening. To regain back my hair I started using coccoonion anti hair fall set by littleeextra and it worked in boosting hair thickness and hair growth. I would suggest if you apply it then always wash your hair by diluting shampoo with some water before applying as it performs much better that way. When you apply hair oil then heat it a bit and then apply. Apply it a minimum of once a week. Use neem wood comb while combing your hair and use scalp massager while hair cleansing to get remove sebum and dirt etc and it gives even super charged result.

I have not lost hair since using minoxoddil after 10 days (now at 67 days w zero hair shedding)

For me, I didn't notice a difference after two and a half months. But I'm giving it 6 months to see if I can have any change.

Dr why does minoxidil give me rapid heart rate and make me lightheaded? I tried it three times and had to stop. Even rosemary oil made feel about the same but not as intensely.

Itch bad. I heard the hair is going when it itch.

It's nothing magical,but it works. Combined with finasteride it's a good hair loss stop and some recovery.

I noticed new hair after 4-almost 5 months and its better and better, soon it will be 6 months, dont stop, continue, but only minoxidil is not enough, who knows, knows :) ! and for woman, please, do not use birth control pills, after you stopped with them, your hair will fall, becouse of hormones, so you will think minoxidil doesnot work...

see a doctor for finasteride or dutasteride. for prevention, localized minoxidil is tedious and can drip onto places you dont want hair, and oral minoxidil will grow hair alll over. fin/dutasteride instead block DHT, the hormone that disrupts your hair cycles
