@@alakani I majored in philosophy. If your intro to philosophy isn’t teaching you the bedrock concepts of formal logic, then you are being set up for failure. However, it’s funny that you listed a bunch of stuff that I did say, but you are acting like I didn’t say it. Yes, analyzing real arguments, so you can dissect it into its proper logical notation, look for fallacies or discuss how it’s a deductive syllogism or inductive syllogism, or prove that it rests on a false premise of invalid logic. Thank goodness my Phil 101 teacher aka “introduction to basic sentential logic” teacher did this so well for me. Lol “inspiring students by tackling big questions…and drawing connections to their lives” it sounds like you had a pretty terrible philosophy professor that neglected your fundamentals. It’s Phil 101. It’s not a sales pitch for a time share.

@@LB-yg2br "Introduction to Basic Sentential Logic" isn't a course anywhere. It's one unit of some Phil101 courses, at the end, after the interesting stuff. For me all that was in 24.241, a separate Logic I course. Because learning it too early makes people completely miss the point of philosophy

I love being an educated consumer, I can look at inventory I can see strains I can see sativa versus Indica, I can look up reviews and see what other People have had to say about any given strain. It’s regulated to a point. Nowadays is so much better than trying to trust the one random person with a random plant in his mothers closet.

I agree but 99% of people in NYS probably still get from unlicensed vendors being as how there's only 4-5 licensed shops selling certified, lab tested product and it remains artificially inflated by low competition.

Ever heard of a stoner brawl? Haven't heard of a dispensary having issues with violent patrons yet. Funny.

Unfortunately they're easy targets for robberies cuz they have to deal with cash. Our federal marijuana laws make it so that banks don't want to do business with them, so they usually don't take credit cards like other businesses do. So cash only and thus vulnerable

It's not all sunshine. Some of the problems are race-based monopolies on dispensary ownership, robberies, and the 1 in a half a million stories heard about kids accidentally eating edibles. Just different crimes.

Started smoking when I was 31. It's improved my life tremendously over these six years.

I love having a dispensary. Anything that can get me out of having to fake a friendship with a dealer I don't like. I order online, I pick it up in store, and they don't try to smoke it all with me in the car the minute I buy it.

Either way Ohio is about to find out!

Colorado has had this for years, of course. It's lost its novelty, but those first couple years, it was a strange experience walking into a store that feels like the Apple store, talking openly about the cannabis, and walking out with it. Also, having it in your car.

I was on a cross country road trip back in 2015 and was planning on visiting my cousins who lived in NY. I called them up and told them, "I'm going through Colorado, do you want me to pick anything up?" They asked me to pick up some fireworks for them. Not at all what I was expecting.

Basically we’re already dead. Those two smiled and then took away so quick.🤣🤣

When ordering Delta 8 and related products by mail, it helps to deal with companies that'll publish FULL LABS on their websites for the whole product line. This includes not only the cannabinoid breakdowns but the foreign substances. Some places will only do the cannabinoids or no labs at all. The most reputable ones are ones like 3chi and Delta Extrax. Most people won't look at the labs but I got more interested after discovering that my favorite vape has 111 times the safe level of methylene chloride. It was the only product they had to flunk a lab on something, but they never should have put it out.

It's unfortunate that some of the great late night shows with women hosts have been cancelled, like Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and Amber Ruffin's show. I'd love it if all of the top late night shows weren't only all white men.

I miss getting high. I was a huge stoner kid in highschool back in the 90s. Stopped smoking around age 25 and got my GED and went to college. One of my college friends started growing and so I had tried again and just didn't enjoy it. Way too high maybe? But I got nauseas and super paranoid.

@michaelstiller2282 I just cut that out, too. Strangely, I never drank when I smoked. Then, years later, I got into it socially. I liked it on the weekend nights with the wife. But ultimately, it's not healthy, so reducing it dramatically to be only on occasion.

Smoked too much for what the thc percentage is. I used to smoke much more, now that the percentage is at least 20 percent consistently, I only need an eighth a week.

Honestly there's something to be said for how unpalatable some of my favorite strains have gotten since rec was legalized here in Az. I used to LOVE the strain Chemdawg, but there's been only 2 times I got anything close to what its suposed to be from dispensaries in this state since medically legalized, and I used to do dispensary reviews on youtube so I've been to roughly 45% of the AZ ones. The stuff that calls itself Chemdawg nowadays is bland and weak in my experience, and I feel the genetics have gotten ruined by oversplicing/outbreeding the original strain in favor of production. Not the only strain that I feel is the victim of this, but it's the one that stands out most in my head.
