Easily the best gameplay of any football game. It's sad 2K football got taken away from us.

Just the little things like players on the bench slowing someone down. 2k was ahead of its time when it came to football, hoping they make another game down the road, nfl licensing or not

they are just been super silent the past 3 years...we might get it this year

This game has so much replay value imo. I remember stacking my offense with every possible star player I could with no star defense, So I went 16-0 and lost it and got blown out in the championship bowl game. Lol I got exposed but was so much fun

I remember Numbski had a loaded Defense focusing on Safeties (4 legends!) to cover the flats in his base 3-2 defense and he only had a bronze QB/gold custom FB (Lorenzo Neil) on offense. Pretty crazy stuff back in the day.

This game is so realistic crazy how madden is no where near as good as this

Greg Lloyd is a guy that goes unrecognized and under the radar. People seem to forget how great he was. Another guy from that era was Simon Fletcher for the Broncos. From 1989 to 1993 he put up double-digit sacks, but be never led the league and he finished his career with 97.5 sacks, just under that magical 100.

I was a young kid when Derrick Thomas was playing. I wasn't super into football because by then, my hometown team; the Baltimore Colts, had left town. But, I knew about Thomas. Our local station would just pick up whatever game of the week and I was excited because KC was on. Back then, the internet wasn't a thing, nor were computers in the home. I saw banners all over the place for Thomas in the stadium, and I was looking for #58 on the field. I was wondering why he wasn't playing. I thought maybe he was injured. After a few series, when the announcers had a break, they finally delivered the tragic news that he had passed away in an automobile accident, and I actually cried. He was probably the only guy that could have challenged Lawrence Taylor as the most disruptive pass rusher in the game.

My cousin owned this game and when we hung out together over the Summer like we normally did, he brought his Sega and this game. He wanted to see how I would attack it since we both played Madden together. I decided I wanted two shut down corners and a gold QB. I figured stopping the pass and having the most important position on the field on offense would be the best. I think I had two silver wideouts and a silver RB. My team would always go to the playoffs, would advance, but could never win the Superbowl.

I would love to see another all pro game with the current consoles.

Love how the pocket develops on this game. Real fighting in the trenches! So much to love about 2k8

currently playing it and watching your video at the same time. listen man... 2k did what EA has still never been able to do in the last 15 years after making sure 2k couldnt best them on football games anymore. i think i speak for a vast majority of people when i say, ALL WE WANT.... is our 2k football games back.

He's the best TE in the game in terms of bang for your buck. Plays like a silver or even a gold sometimes but he's a bronze. Same with Christian Okoye.

Are you playing this game on an emulator, or using a screen capture? It is surprising how well the graphics hold up for this as well. Somebody made a mod for this game to create a franchise mode for it as well.

I wonder why 2k won't just make another game like this Instead of making the arcade type Football game. I understand this game didn't sell that good but lot's of guys like myself just never heard of it when It came out. It was like 2007 when the Internet wasn't really poppin yet. They make another one and I think that It would sell.

Nah it’s not online anymore but you can play offline and create a team… they have roster files online you can download to a usb and put in your ps3 to transfer but it’s difficult
