    Why is there still not one invasive and safe treatments for eye floaters if doctors know that they are invasive. This is incredibly frustrating. Every optometrist will say that there's nothing you can do to make them disappear. It really sucks that no one is researching safer ways to treat them.

    Just to say THANK YOU for this! I had flashes and floaters come on suddenly, (I am 56) two days before, and went to my optician straight away that day after watching your video. They did an in depth analysis and thankfully, found nothing wrong! In fact, they commented on how healthy my eyes are! It was odd seeing such an in depth picture of the inside and back of your eyes! This was four days ago and they are still there, one floater and occasional small 'flashes' around the corner of my eye, nothing really has changed, nor gotten worse, so am hoping it will be less noticeable as time progresses. My optician did say that these things can be brought on by stress and lack of sleep, which I have been suffering from of late. So thank you so much and to others, don't be scared to make that appointment!

I did get a bit worried at first, but then I got this quite excited feeling once I made the appointment and SO PLEASED to note I was in good eye health. Since then this has also led me to make other healthier lifestyle changes, as this came on as I was 'thinking about' these changes and it was almost like the Universe was saying to me/giving me that little push to say....'do it...make those healthy improvements...' and am feeling way better all round. Strange how things work out. Many thanks again :-)

    I cured my floaters 100 percentage using following way in 4 months --- Most important - 3 big slices of pineapple 2times a day for 2 month then 1 slice for 1 time to avoid any side effects of pineapple overeating -- 1. Drink lots of water 2. Drink 1 glass of water before sleep & in between sleep if you awake drink water 3. Sleep for 9+ hours 1/2 + hour afternoon & sleep without pillow 4. Keep eyes always hydrated (not dry) use water to wash eye (6/7 times a day) to hydrate 5. Fasting (no food) one day per week.. fruit+water allowed 6. Don't squeeze or use fingers or any eye related exercise.. just keep natural eye movement. Should not give any stress on eye.. also don't cough heavily to avoid eye pressure 7. Avoid tv/mobile/laptop as much possible 8. Add fruit in dailt - I eat 5 fruit everyday 9. Run for 15 minutes everyday 10. Take 1 spoon of ghee everyday 11. Start Ayurvedic Treatment (mostly specialist in eye) 12. Sleep on face down posture for 1/2 hours every day

    I would like to add that retinal detachments will often follow the lesser known vitreous detachment that most of us will experience as we get older. Sometimes the vitreous detachment will tug on the retina and tear it. That happened to me. I saw not so much any more floaters but got frequent flashes from the side of my eye. Went to 2 eye doctors who didn't see anything wrong. Finally one said to see a retinal specialist. I did and he found my tear. We did laser surgery that minute. So, two regular eye doctors didn't catch the tear, but the retina specialist guy did. My experience suggests passing on the other doctors, go straight to a retinal specialist. They have way different equipment and ways of looking for the tear. Mine was so old it was starting to heal on its own. I was very lucky it was in a place that was at the extreme edge of my vision. I honestly can't see where I am missing my vision that I lost.

    I developed a floater in my right eye and it came with flashes in the night, but the flashes went away and the floater is lessening. I hope you were talking about flashes not going away that would be a big concern? I think it is the bio-flavanoids in the pineapple that give nutrients to the eye & floaters than appear less noticeable.

  • @jayelliot

    @jayelliot

    3 жыл бұрын

    No matter if they flashes went away I would recommend going to an ophthalmologist. You could have had a minor retinal tear and you won’t know it unless they dilate your eyes and look. It’s a relatively easy fix with a laser procedure. If not treated, the vitreous can build up behind the hole and push more of the retina to detach.

    I suspect that excessive sugar consumption causes those (bright white flashes). Sugar found in mainstream candy bars, soft drinks, white sugar that people put in their coffee, donuts, cakes, etc, etc. Restrict yourself to a sweet treat once or twice a week; and the sweetener that it contains should be RAW sugar, NOT white sugar. Raw honey, real Maple Syrup and Rice Syrup are ok; there are lots of organic candy bars now; and you'll find these things in organic food stores, like Whole Foods Market; and many main stream food stores carry these things. (White sugar) is dangerous and destructive.

    Awesome video, glad I watched it! A word, to all of you that had floaters for a long time, think of them as an organic compound that derived from you, don't make yourself feel invaded by that. True, they can annoy and distract, but at the end of the day, you know how to overcome that, if you had them for a long time.

    It is common knowledge that, as we age, the parietal cells of the stomach produce less HCL. It is also true that, as we age, we are also prone to eye floaters; moreover, an older person ( with, coincidentally, less stomach acid ) is more apt to RETAIN the eye floaters acquired. My theory is the two are related. Inadequate stomach acid levels have been associated with a number of health conditions; could eye floaters be one of them? If so, could a proper blood pH ( normally between 7.35 and 7.45) contribute to the natural absorption of floaters?

    I’ve been having those things in my eye since I’m 17, the first one I had is like a worm, it moves and changes shapes, sometimes it curls up like a snake eww and it distracts me! Later on I started seeing cobwebs, then donut shaped little black dots, that appear very intense the brighter my field of vision is, then a new worm shaped floater appeared in my left eye, and new more little donuts are floating around in both eyes, but not hundreds, maybe about 20, but they’re extremely distracting, sometimes I fantasize how I would destroy them with my fingers if I could… I really wanna have a clear vision again.

They are like everywhere. I’m scared it’s something more serious and I scared they won’t go away. And I don’t know what to do. They are making me go crazy, I feel like I am getting headaches and I can’t deal with it anymore. Even if it's not backed up by research, can it be damaging for the eye at all or it's safe to try it (organic cold pressed of course)? When I am at home I do not see anything when looking at a white wall or a shiny surface, but I see it wherever I look outside, what do you think is the reason for this?
