I bought a few hoping to get one like that test flight video I saw from Disc Nation ages ago and yeah, they are just really beefy now. This video is what they used to (seem to) be. Picked one up, excited.

My Trance is light purple w/ yellow rim. Flies slightly overstable like a new Fission Volt, more stable than a beat-in straight flying Fission Volt. By the flight numbers, I was expecting a rival to my Mint Jackalope. Nope, not yet at least. Maybe after more beating in.

I have a blue plate/purple rim trance, 174g, and it’s pretty stable. I use it exclusively for shots where I need to hit a straight gap with some strong fade.

The vanguard video was almost it! Gage Crowell and I might do that one together if you know him.
I like just the throw with no putt…. But putting gives a better idea of where the discs landed so…

Which that second part is great for locals. I think if I keep it and use it as transitions with talking points on the disc it’s good, sometimes I just don’t want to putt anymore 😂
Got a teal/blueish plate with a red rim. Didn't really get much flip out of mine. I brought a discmania essence with it to the field since they have the same flight numbers to compare. Essence definitely flipped way more than the trance did for me. From the same OTB release I think the glow servo and soft crave flipped a bit more. Maybe the color has something to do with it after all.

My essence also flips way more than the trance. Essence is spot on with flight numbers in my opinion. I did a review of it, I don’t remember what I said back then though haha The color thing is funny since eclipse is suppose to be more over stable.
I absolutely want to say I love your football field reviews because I literally do the same thing. I just don't put it on KZread. That's how I choose discs and choose plastics❤🤘🏼

Man I love my trance! Have last years run and this one. For once actually prefer the neutron. Thing has glide and TONS of forward and flare skips in the woods.

@@FlippyJamesDG honestly, kind of like the new eclipse craves. I feel it was more flippy than it lead on. However, once you got the hang of it, it gives beautiful s curve lines straight down the fairway.
My Trance is lime plate, green rim, and I'd say out of the box, it feels like a 8 | 5 | -1 | 2

Also yes 110% out of the box more stable and once beaten in, flys closer to the numbers. Mine is a tad more stable.

@@FlippyJamesDG let me expand a bit. I love when you throw on the football field first and then take the discs to the course. When you do disc specific content then I really just want to see those discs fly. I’m not really interested in the putts because they just make the video longer. On the flip (np;) side I don’t like when it’s just throws on that you don’t see the landing on. So showing where the disc landed and how much is left is good because it speaks to how well you managed to place your shots with the disc. I do also enjoy full round content but then I like it to contain talk an out disc selection and shot decisions. In these it’s not just about one disc so here putting should be included for sure.
