    Thank you Leigha . Do you have any “recipes” for slipping rib syndrome perhaps? I have one now, have had it twice before. Very frustrating when I love yoga so much, and have hard time practicing while nursing this thing ! Any tips are much appreciated. 🙏

    Oy! I have it too, legal eaglet. The only thing that’s worked for me has been taking time off of the things that exacerbate it - in my case, nauli / the belly vacuum seems to push my lower ribs out of place. I didn’t remember until you mentioned it, but I dealt with that nagging pain for three or four years w/out anyone giving me a satisfying answer. A couple considerations aside from pain avoidance and pain management: I don’t know if it’s been studied, but I believe there’s a correlation between hormonal fluctuations and the slipping rib. I don’t know if you’re female but if you are, try observing whether it wanes or worsens at different times in your cycle. If it does, you could craft your yoga practice to coincide with when it’ll be least likely to cause you pain. For ex., avoid the deepest postures around menstruation if that’s when you feel most sensitive. … Lastly, you might be able to find a chiropractor who can provide a little relief. Or there’s always ice. Good luck.

    @@LeighaButler thank you! I am female, however I am 54 (but feel like 35 😊) and no longer have periods. And it actually did not slip this time during yoga, it was bending and twisting behind the dryer to reach something! Twice before, yes. During yoga. Very frustrating indeed. Thanks for the tips. 🙏
