I’ve been doing this excercise for months now everyday for 5 minutes and 30 seconds and I still don’t see any speed gains. How do I get better?

I have mad respect for you, but speed in movement is a result of a complex interplay between muscles, tendons, nervous system, and biomechanics. Muscles generate the force needed for movement, while tendons transmit that force to the bones. The elasticity of tendons can also contribute to speed by storing and releasing energy, like a spring. Both are important, but muscles are generally more responsible for generating the raw power needed for speed.

I see what your saying , you kinda said what I said in the video. I just don’t think muscle contributes to .08 second ground contacts as much as most people believe. Of course the muscle is involved in co contractions and what not but muscles being priority is just not how I view sprinting

How would won train their nervous system or is it just a byproduct
I have been consistently training my speed for 2 months straight.I will be running a 100,200 on a meet in 8 days. Will this exercise improve my speed for the next 7 days ?

I have a meet in 12 days is 11 days of training this exercise enough? How many times should I train it in 11 days spand. How many sets of this exercise should I do and how long

I’m not sure it’s already too late, you can’t just transform your speed in 11 days it’s a process. If you clean up these positions you will see gains in your time for sure I can’t just make up a number though

You can drop times in a month. If you start speed and auto regulate with timing your sprints that’s enough to see consistent slow gains until your season

@@TheSagaShowworkout stops based on times - so if you run 3 reps in 4 seconds but fourth rep is 4.4 seconds you shut it down
