Do THESE 5 Things if You Want to Be Ripped! (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Getting ripped and staying ripped forever is not as complicated as some people make it out to be. In fact, it can be boiled down to just five things. In this video, I’m going to show you the 5 things that every ripped guy does that you can start copying in order to get shredded yourself and stay that way forever. No more bouncing up and down in body fat after watching this.

To start, it helps to dispel some of the lies and insignificant methods in which people tend to latch onto in a pursuit of lower body fat. These include things like juice fasts and cleanses, no eating after 6 pm at night, drinking apple cider vinegar to burn fat and doing only fasted cardio to name a few. The issue is not that these methods may not have very very small incremental impacts on your fat loss, it is that they are the equivalent of throwing a deck chair off the titanic to save the sinking ship if you are behind the ball on your current weight. It is not going to work enough to be significant.
Instead, there are 5 tried and true mechanisms that every ripped guy will do that you need to copy if you want to unlock the true secret to long term leanness.
First is that no ripped guy that stays that way forever is dieting. You might be absolutely puzzled by this since it flies in the face of everything you’ve ever been taught. The truth is however, that nobody that stays ripped is dieting. They long ago purged that word from their vocabulary and instead have replaced it with nutrition. When you eat healthy and enjoy the foods you eat you can stick to that style of eating forever.
If the methods of eating that you used to get down to the weight and body fat level you are at were based on deprivation and food group elimination then you will likely not be able to sustain that forever meaning that at some point you are going to wind up putting the weight back on. This is not the right way to go about it. You have to make healthy eating a lifestyle and base it around acceptable foods that you love if you want to unlock the key to being ripped forever.
Next, you must drink a lot of water throughout the day. Staying hydrated will help you to stave off hunger and the confusion of thirst for hunger while at the same time helping you to maintain energy to perform at your best when you train.
Speaking of training, if given the choice between a cardio workout or weight training the guy that stays ripped forever will always choose the weight training session. This is because they know that the biggest key to leanness is putting on muscle. The more muscle you carry the more insulin sensitive your body becomes and the more positively you react to food with less likelihood of fat storage.
In addition, when you lift weights it is important to learn how to lift the weights you should rather than always pursuing the weights you can. This is particular true when your only focus is on strength. In these instances, carrying around a little excess body fat actually works to your advantage to create leverage on most compound lifts. When the obsession is with lifting heavier and heavier numbers then you forget to focus on the quality of the tension delivered to the working muscle and this can have a negative impact on the look of the muscle you are training not to mention set you up for an overreaching injury that will keep you out of the gym for a period of time.
Finally, above all else consistency is required. You must learn how to become consistent with your approach if you want lifetime leanness. It actually isn’t nearly as hard as some would make it out to be since your nutrition is much easier to stay consistent with when you like what you’re eating and your workouts are rewarding.
If you are looking for a program that you can be consistent with and lays out all of your workouts and meals in a step by step way, be sure to click on the link below to get started.

You shortened your workouts by 10 hours a week? So your daily workouts took 1 hour and 25 minutes longer than your current workouts? Makes me wonder how long you used to train initially. Assuming you now train for a short time every day, like 45 minutes or so, you used to train for 2 hours and 10 minutes EVERY DAY.

I’m a trainer, and the hardest thing for me is convincing women, who have lost like 50lbs on their diets, that diets don’t work. I had one lady who was on a fasting cardio diet pass out in my class. Others in the omad ( one meal a day) can’t keep up. Yet they lose weight, which makes the. Look more muscular, yet are not getting stronger! I can’t help them, I even send them your videos, but it is impossible!

Cause women are like that my guy. Only care about looks, even more about their own. This is why people don't believe me when I say bodybuilding requires a smart mind, it's not just lifting stupid weights, it actually is genius, simple minded people won't understand. They never get "behind the science in strength", they only care about aesthetics. As Jeff says, if you wanna look like an athlete, you gotta train like an athlete. Diets are so fuckin short term it's crazy, and people fall for it.... I respect someone that doesn't just look stronger, but is actually stronger, no matter of the looks.

It boils down to the simple philosophy: find a way to make it consistent. Make food choices that you can easily keep making. Find an exercise routine that works and you can stick with. Consistency is less about having the strength of mind to push through, and more about being clever in adopting improvements that feel natural.

This will not only make the process more enjoyable, but be much more conducive to keeping solid consistency over time. Very well said my friend - thank you for sharing your insight.

I've been taking baby steps to help with the consistency problems. I know in other videos, Jeff has mentioned "first, simply cut out the bad foods, and then over time, start to incorporate the good foods." Well, that probably is a good idea for a lot of people. But for me, I kept the fast food for a while, but added spinach and fruit every single day. Then slowly added brown rice, black beans, lentils, sweet potatoes, etc into my habits. Then I started getting leaner chicken and stuff. I still have a long way to go, but as he mentioned about the results, I'm seeing results so it's getting so much more exciting to continue this. Now, I don't *SEE* anything different yet, but I FEEL so much different (in a good way)!

Last summer I had a lot of belly fat, I was in shit shape, and my cardio sucked. I always lifted, but I didn't really take it seriously. So I started to run. I ran and ran and ran until I went from celebrating having run 4 miles without stopping to (4 months later) running 27 miles in 5 hours and 5 minutes. I shred the fat off. I did SOME lifting, but I combined it with cardio and completely changed my nutritional lifestyle. I used to eat 2 packages of ramen noodles with 3 eggs dropped into it almost every day. I ate bread and all kinds of shit. Changing what I ate and getting myself in shape changed my life. Running changed my life. I ran through the fall and into the winter. Then I changed it up. I achieved my goal of thinning out. My muscles were not as developed as I wanted. I then started to lift heavier and do cardio less. Gradually it turned into 2 hours at the gym rather than running outside and training my ass of with whatever muscle I'm targeting, combined with taking ALL of Jeff's advice that I've received in the videos of his that I watched. I gained 10 lbs over the course of about a year and my abs and muscles look WAY better than a year ago. My goal was to thin out and build up muscle from that point. Now, I will never be satisfied because I always want to go further, yet I AM finally satisfied with my shape, look, and overall feeling. It's all thanks to hard work, proper supplementation, and Jeff's knowledge. Thank you Jeff. Now my workouts are done more properly (making minor yet pivotal changes such as which way my wrist is turned and where my elbows are, etc) and I even add hot spices to my foods and cinnamon to my coffee/almond milk every day now to boost my metabolism. I take Jeff's advice to heart and it is changing my life. The 2 people I admire most in the world of fitness and bodybuilding is Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jeff Cavaliere. Arnold had the perfect physique of mass and lean combined, and Jeff has the best videos on how to train with proper form and technique. The internet is a blessing. *Thanks Jeff!!!* 👍💪

It actually worked. Thaks Jeff. I was too heavy to cardio but always found strength training easier. I didn't know it will be help cutting down fats percentage from my body.. Now I look muscular and feel comfortable while moving and can perform cardio as well. I wasn't able to sleep due to obesity and bad posture through out the day. You helped me with that as well. If you are reading this, I really want to give you a thanks and well wishes. Sorry about my ungrammatical English.

    1. No diet => pizza for lunch, chicken and fries for diner 2. Lots of water => 2 bottles of coke per day, there is a lot of water in it :D 3. Weight training over cardio -> I lift... 4.Lift what you should be lifting -> ...2lbs dumbbells @ 10 reps per month 5. Consistency -> I am very consistent with my plan :D What did I do wrong? :(

Dude i starting watching your videos and they have been aspiring. When i heard you say eat less calories then you burn and thats how you lose weight, it really hit me. I hate diet food and i liked the fact that i can eat the shit that i eat cause i would of not been good with diet, but i am good with lifestyle change as far as being aware of my calorie intake. Ive been following some of your dumbell traing videos, shoulders, and push up videos. When i started watching you i was 247 pounds, i am happy to say 31 days later, i am 225 pounds, and am actually starting to see definition in my arms and shoulders. I just wanna thank you man, youve changed my life bro.

I have watched a LOT of your videos and find them to be the most informative and well done online. I'm slowly getting myself together to the point where I can challenge one of your programs soon (I'm 5' 10" tall, and will be 63 years old in 3-weeks). However, I was adding fat while on my workout routine for about 8 months. My routine includes a 15 minute fast bike ride, with hills, to and from work each day, plus my new weight-training routine is half my usual workout, but 2-days in a row, and then a day off (so instead of weight-training every other day - i.e. 3 times a week, I weight-train six times every 8 days, with a 15-30 minute HIIT workout routine on my days off. I find this routine to fit into my busy schedule much easier. What I also did was start weighing food and counting calories 3 months ago and I found that I had been eating far too much...I was probably eating 400-600 calories per day more than I should have been, but there's no way I was using that much, which would account for the added body fat that I wasn't losing (although admittedly, I was not adding too much fat either because of my workout routine...it was creeping up on me slowly). So I have been counting calories for the past 3 months and I have almost eliminated that last 10% of belly fat now (perhaps 2% to 3% more to be considered "ripped");...this I suppose has been my shredding phase. Then, when I can see all of my abs again, I will continue to weigh my food and count calories, but this time I'm going to eat more calories much more precisely and scientifically, and not just shoving food in my mouth anytime it suited me. I have checked my food sources with my physician and a personal trainer at the gym before it closed and both have said that my food choices are excellent. I simply eliminated eating garbage (mainly sugar) from my diet...and the word "KETO" has never crossed my lips :-). Basically, as a guide, I just follow the Glycemic Index, and that has been working well for me. However, because of Covid-19 the gyms in my town had all closed, but thankfully I had invested in a set of PowerBlock dumbbells about 12 years earlier, plus I have a bench, a Roman Chair, a device I have been using for body-dips, an Olympic tricep bar that I have been using for tricep/chest pullovers...and of course I have the obligatory chin-up/pull-up bar that fits in my door...so I just changed my routine and got to work at home instead. I had been doing lat-pulldowns in the gym, so transitioning to chin-ups/pull-ups at home was an adjustment because I basically went from 145 lbs of lat-pulldowns to 190 lbs of chin-ups/pull-ups, but my thinking is that if you can do just one chin-up/pull-up then you're on your way (you can start with 3-sets of 1-rep). I started out at 3-sets of 6-reps and am now averaging 3-sets of 17.3-reps. I'm also now 179 lbs and I get body-image-scanned once a year to see where I'm at (I have another appointment on October 6th). Last September I was about 14.75% BF...and I know I'm close to that now too. My biggest challenge when working out from home was to adjust my arms (forearms and wrists) to use dumbbells for bench-pressing (this is all I have at home). This, I found, was entirely different than doing bench-presses (both incline and level) using a barbell or universal gym. I had to reduce the weights, but I'm slowly increasing those now too, and am "finally" starting to see results. I also need to work more on my forearms and wrists though to be able to handle heavier dumbbells for bench-pressing. My goal is to try and incline bench-press 80 lb dumbbells (i.e. 160 lbs) by January 1st (my PowerBlock set can be adjusted to 120 lbs each, which for me is ample). I watched your videos on diet and eating...to me "being on a diet" is different that "one's diet"...the latter being more of the lifestyle to which you refer in this video. I agree 100% with your diet choices and methods. I use a slightly different strategy now, but I will probably use your method after I have reached my goals and I get too lazy to weigh and measure food :-).
