Nick you say to people on the street it's 1 dollar but pricing is posted different at this link. I have nothing against your monthly or yearly fees etc the training app and concepts seem down. But you aren't going to get anybody to subscribe saying that on the street. It's actually 15 dollars a month after they try it for 7 days right? So you should tell them that. Say "It's free for the first week then 15 dollars a month if you like it and want to train with me" that's more honest and I bet you get more people signing up that way.

@@erock736 A lot of people are focused on other things, mostly school or work, and there's less of an immediate and obvious benefit for them to work out. "Sure, I could learn to do a push-up, but it would take a lot of time that I need to spend studying for exams"--that's the mindset. Plus, women naturally have less upper body strength than men, so if a random woman doesn't work out, it's even less likely she will be able to do it, as compared to a random man who doesn't work out. (By the way... I say this as a woman who can't do a push-up yet, and who only recently started trying to get physcially fit. Other people's lives are very different from yours!)

This video helped me understand just how much of a beast my father is. He is 55 years old and does 80-100 of these push ups consecutively in one go. It makes sense however if you consider that he is still working a physician in a hospital, 8 or more hours every day lifting people that can't currently walk. Its different than lifting weight in gyms cause the patient often moves their entire body weight as you are current holding them. It's like carrying a 70kg sack that keeps changing its weight minus 20kg if they cooperate or +50kg if they resist at the opposite side while you are holding them.

But if you're a perfectly strong (a little bit weight lifting and/or genetic) and in shape (cardio/running/jump rope etc.), you can perfectly do 65 push ups in one minute and 79/min sit ups... speaking from experience who have just finished a Core and Fitness Test in class for the semester... and I'm a 40+ years old female but fit! I can't say the same for other gals though. But I have to clarify that though the teacher's very strict on forms, she doesn't mind if we have elbows out or elbows in for the push ups. I had my elbows somewhere in the middle... I doubt I could do 35 with elbows in. FYI the guy to has the world record for push ups... For a lot of people out there its not the arms that give out, it is the lower back. If you do some Supermans on the ground, lifting your arms and legs while laying on your belly, you will strengthen your lower back. Then you will find it easier to do pushups. Also, BREATHE!!! Don't hold your breath when pushing from the ground. Push the air out. Scream! Do whatever you need to do to keep your back straight and push with your hands. You got this!!!!

What's even more saddening is how much they will 'try' to challenge themselves simply for money rather than the self improvement of simply giving something a go. Great videos and content as always. High 5 to those believers. So many people complaining about the economy and lack of money, but they're offered $100 and decline to even try. Amazing.

I used to be unable to do push-ups from the floor. When I took up crossfit over a year ago, I started with scaled versions: push-ups on a bar. Eventually, that bar lowered further and further and by now I'm strong enough to do them on the floor and do them properly. Took me about eight months or so. As yet, I'm not able to do pull-ups or chin-ups, but my experience with training to do push-ups has taught me that with enough perseverance I will eventually be able to do those too. Just because you can't do something now doesn't mean you never will. Just keep working towards that goal and you may surprise yourself.
