but the thing is that if i try to be myself than i am hated by many people and i can't tolerate that,but i think there is also another way like you could be alone and do the things that you want to do and then people around you would slowly accept your personality. But how do you do that? How do you get into such a mental state, that it is not affected by any external attack? I usually do not trip when people say shit about me, but sometimes it just hits hard and then there is an avalanche of negative emotions. Recently I told a girl that I would like to date her. She could have said she not interested. But she said I am not good enough for her. I was emotionally unstable for the entire week. Man I dont wanna feel like that again. I dont want to be affected by what anyone says.

Totally agree, and we Always need to have God in our hearts, the truth in life which is in the ORTHODOX christianity religion. it is the original and true form of christianity that Jesus taught us when he came to earth, and you can feel God through the holy mysteries after baptism , confession and holy communion in the orthodox christian church, something that completely changes your life and turns you into a happier person with a meaningful life and also saves you by strengthening your bond with God. That was my childhood. My parents, my grandmother, that is all I heard from them, you are not doing the right things. My father is 67 today and he still did not change. But it doesn't matter anymore. I can relate to David so much. My father was a monster . He beat me up so bad that my legs were all blue. Also beat up my mother. Worst was the mental abuse , physical not so much , but I always felt bad at home. When I came back from school I never felt good in my house , cause it was not a home. Living with a Tyrant ain't easy. I got into heroin addiction , cause my mother was overprotective, and I was afraid of girls. It lasted 10 years. Spent 5 years in Polish prisons..3 years of homelessness. My mother passed away to cancer in 2011. At the age of 55. My father changed , our relations are good now but he still sometimes is trying to tell me that I do some things wrong. But it's on a different level totally now. I am self sufficient. Got my own apartment. Live with my dog. Since 2008 I am on methadone. Got a rent and a part time job. But it's really nothin, I work 60 hours a week. I don't need fancy stuff. Social Care helps me to pay my rent , I get money for food from them , and I get 100 dollars a month for stuff I want to buy , I have a 300 dollars rent, and make 200 dollars in my part time job. But I am going to quit it in a year. Just want to have all the time for myself to work on my issues.

I've been reflecting on recent instances in which I felt some people didn't like me. I actually was getting sad about it. I'm realizing what I really feel sad about is not that they don't like me, is that instead of being myself I was acting in way to make them like me and I feel like a failure. I sold myself short and still lost the game. I'd rather have just been myself and have them hate me than be a doormat expecting not to get walked on. Damn. What's crazy is I've listened to tons of Goggins and others and shit like this still happens. Can't get down on yourself. Can't get soft after a misstep and stumble.

Try and think of someone or something that will remind you to stay true to your self when that happens. You know what to do, it's just that when it comes time to do it you fall back on your old ways. For me I think of something that gets me angry. That gives me the courage to do the right thing for myself. I know it is not easy but once you get a success you will have more confidence.

🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️ I came from some of the worst situations and childhood. Am damn proud of myself for removing the cobwebs, investing in myself, and knowing I am worthy of great things and I will not settle for less!!

I grew up with my grandparents, my grandma had no idea what life was about I had a hard time with math so the simple thing was I was stupid, it's been hard to get going because I had to drop all the bullshit about life now I'm 65 and many tests later I'm just getting going thanks for the help what you say is true

David's motivation was so much more than being a Seal. And Seals are badass. Don't get me wrong. But David is here as a man who was defeated and rose up above so many things. Always looking for more. Not just selling "i was a Seal once". Mad respect.

i think that when you are alone,you are indirectly saying to them you don't like them but YOU RESPECT THEM and for me in my case,most people understands this and then respect you back. tell me your thoughts on this??

I am exactly where this man was and the struggle of getting on top of all my misery is really hard but not impossible....

I always been angry, ashamed and depressed about my past. But recently, I started being comfortable with my lifestyle of avoiding emotions and people. There’s no up and down in my emotions.
