DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL WASHER
Bought a whirlpool washer at Lowes recently. Use the quick wash which is 25 minutes. When it gets to about 10-11 minute mark it shuts off. Repairman tried 3x to fix it with no luck. Whirlpool will not replace it. Avoid Whirlpool products. If they sell you a lemon they refuse to replace it.
Go to 1:10 in the video and watch it shut off at 10 minute mark.

How long have you had this machine? Did you purchase an extended warranty?
That will happen when you try to run it while empty unless you put it in self-clean mode. There is nothing wrong with this unit.
whirlpools have always done this
Go to 1:10 in video and watch the washer go from 10 minutes to 1 minute, then turn off. Whirlpool says this is normal. I don't think so.

It is, my amana nfw5800hw4 washer is similar and it does that too
