Privilege washing machine, stopped mid-cycle, wouldn't spin. Tried everything with no success. 6 times open/close while holding handle and it started working again. Thanks a lot! 👍

Our work washing machine stopped spinning some time ago, and when I introduced the idea of fixing it by simply closing and opening the door 6 times, they looked at me like I'm a bloody idiot. Try unplugging it for 30 mins then plug it back it and try and do the reset again .. worth a try

You just saved my holiday!!!!! Did the unclog. Got some water and fluff but not a lot. Found 1 fat, yet short, nail which has been sitting there for a long time as it’s created rust I cannot remove from where it was sitting. Then did the magic 6 door within 12 seconds trick. Put it on the spin/drain cycle. Guess what? A few beeps and test spins later and a full spin is on the go just now. I’m soooo grateful to you for making this video. Life saver. 😊

Our Beko washing machine WM84124W, started to play up on the spin cycle, going slow, stopping, then a slow pin. I’ve just watched your video on the open/closing the door for a reset. My goodness, it worked. The machine doesn’t need to be on, just open and close 6 times in 12 seconds. We were prepared to buy a new machine, thank you Graham.

Thanks as it’s Easter service centre closed until Tuesday when I rang. I’d already checked filter ok. Tried your main master switch and although apprehensive I tried it and it worked. Many thanks mended at no cost to me. My washing machine is a Bush model and it works.

Yes, it's true! I couldn't believe that your trick did work!!! This is insane! I did google after! How do I reset my front door washer? How to Reset a Washing Machine, Reasons and Easy Fixes ... Some washing machines have a reset function, consult your manual for details. Also, reset by disconnecting from power for a few minutes. Open and close the door of the machine 6 times within 12 seconds for a master reset. Before a reset, check power, circuit breaker, child lock, drain house or adjust the load.

Hi my my dryer had complety lost heat and I tried this last night without unplugging and it worked I meant to test it after to see if it had but forgot till repair guys came to take it into workshop today only to find it fully functional full capacity heat was back your reset had worked so it works on dryers too. mine is a statesman condenser happy days thank you.

After I replaced the timer, door latch switch and water level switch on my Frigidaire Gallery and it still did not work through all cycles: I tried this reset and working fine now. Thank you! Guess I have some extra parts in case I need them later. Wish I watched this video first, it would have saved me time and money.

Haha, I have just put a few bits in, and it's not done the end spin. It's a new machine, so I will try. The condenser dryer has a reset button on the back of the machine to. Just a little information before you pay the technician to reset your dryer 😊😊 Hey I went to back to the washer, and it had done the spin. It was the small load that obviously messed with the sensor 😊😊
