That was a seriously badass cake man. That was a whole show in a box with a sweet grand finale. BUT Dave, you correct in the fact we would spend $600 on our choice of shells, tubes/racks and make a MUCH more badass show. BUT for someone who just wants to light one thing and have a show, that cake was badass..

You are paying a premium to skip the setup and cleanup with this cake, it costs an extra $300, but your setup and cleanup is done in 10 minutes instead of 3 hours, and you don't have to carry racks ..... not saying it's worth it, but that's the idea they are pitching when selling it.

It's worth it here in Holland, awesome cake!

They have a license to use this one. Idk the laws there but here in the us 1.75” is about the biggest legally u can get. Some NOABS have “3 inch” shells in em but when u take it apart it’s 1.75 or 2.25 and these are cakes not shells so the laws r different

677 without a license might be worth it.

Well for a one time light and how long it went for this is a pretty nice show case for how little work you had to do and not even have a licences for it.

677 USD would be about 145 x 75mm shells and then you would also be able to buy a nice 3 '' rack. So 145 x 75mm shells or this 54 shots cakebox with 45-75 mm :P (Sorry for the english :P)

I would say its worth it, if you have the money for it that is. Great cake!

cake packed a good punch but I didn't realize it cost that much! It was awsome getting to see it in person. the open shoot was a BLAST!

This was a lot better than it was made out to be. Great for people looking to have some fun without the setup though.

So basically 2', 2.5', and 3' double breaks The cake was nice and I'd hate to see what price it would command today, but it did seem to be a bunch of random color and effect shells just thrown together without any real rhyme or reason, though you would certainly be the Bell at the Ball showing up to the BBQ with that thing 😊👌

Seemed like a decent cake to me. the one draw back is no "finale" to it, so it ended pretty weak. Perhaps use it midshow or lead into the finale would be best for this cake. I'd buy one.

I'd TOTALLY pay $150 for that... but I'm also very cheap and don't really know 1.3 prices.

Charlie don't surf but apparently he makes fireworks in the jungles of Vietnam. That was totally awesome. Only complaint from me would be the lack of a grand finale. The breaks and tails and timing were all good.

Sounds like decent size and power shells popping out of tubes. Could have been better but its definitely not bad.

Defiantly worth $677. I would pay that any day for that cake.

Depends what market it's aimed at.. In the UK I can buy 1.3 product without a license but not shells and mortars of any size. The biggest tube size I've seen in a cake is 1 1/4 inch, and 3 inch mines are available but never seen anything like this before. $677 is a lot of money, but if it was available here as a consumer product ive seen a lot worse "bang per buck"

it’s really beautiful cake and very loud one. but that two bangs is a professional display shell. i like it.

For $677.00 it's a bit pricey, but it was a good colorful aerial show.

I agree. It looks more like 1.4 canister shells and these effects in the video would run about $60 avg for 24 canister shells. I'll assume 4 boxes of them or 96 canister rounds total in this video. At that it should cost only $240 for all of the shells. Not sure about the rack and fusing but, that should not be more than the canisters themselves so, if you even double the price of the canisters to pay for the price of the hardware, you are still at only $480. I'm guessing the extra $197 is what they made off of labor?

I’d say $300 would be a fair price that ANY one would be happy with.

Insane price but performance was decent. I believe red pearl brand is also made by Charlie's factory, I have seen some of their consumer stuff for sale before.

That's a beautiful Cake but I would never pay that much money..

700 bucks worth of canister and ball shells wouldn’t get you anywhere close to that. I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

basically a show in a box. not enough variation in the effects imo, but saves a lot of setup time. may be worth it to some people for that reason alone.

did anyone count the breaks? maybe it was the # on the box from charlies factory but watching the shells, just seemed like more breaks then what was on box description.

A True Wisconsinite a salute it's the shell with a quick white flash and a small break as in it doesn't explode that big but they are alot louder than the bigger ones just look up "titanium salutes" on KZread u can find videos of them.

A True Wisconsinite, sorry I didn't answer you I just saw this, im all over the place so sorry. there are two kinds of salutes, one with just flash and one with titanium, titanium gives it a white glittery flash, and regular salute is just a flash b4 the loud noise hits, if you love noise then salutes are for you.

I think it was beautiful and awesome. Yeah 600 was overprice but shouldn’t cost much less either!

Looked pretty good to me. I did a 60.00 cake that was about one tenth of that so money wise it was worth it overall.

For $677 I don’t think that was a bad show. I’d buy it.

I agree it was slow an even if the shells are different it’s still just bang bang bang bang etc with nothing to break up the monotony it just becomes boring.... A go0d cake isn’t to0 short or long and it keep you interested with every shot with low, mid an high ... this is like a slow song with different words but all the same tune/mono toned.

A whole case of excals are $280 about which comes with 4 boxes of excals that would've been a lot better and a lot cheaper

Maaaaan that cake is no where near worth almost 700 dollars!??? Maybe 400. I could honestly see someone paying 400 for that maybe even 450 cause they were pretty big breaks. Though there wasnt that many effects? As much as I like peonies and chrysanthemums I wanna see some Willows in there maybe some Palms a Saturn Ring or 2 ya know? I mean hey don't get me wrong that was awesome! But not for that price.. The Salutes were a nice touch though. I did like how they scattered a few of those in there.

Here in Denmark a cake like that will be worth it for that price :) xD

Love your videos but, could you get your perspective back a bit? It would be nice to see all of every shell even including the ground a bit so we can judge the altitude of the bursts. Maybe another 150' - 200' back or so with no zoom, world work awesome! Something to try. Maybe have someone with one of your cameras on a tripod do this as an experiment to see how it looks?
