366 Titanium Salutes
Ойын-сауық
This is video from Kellners Fireworks open shoot night. Thanks to everyone that showed up with mortar racks to help me shoot the 1.75 inch salutes. I appreciated all your help and allowing me to share the video with everyone that could not make it.

The part I enjoy most is the kindness between everybody . The camaraderie. Everyone just seems to be having a great time that's what I enjoy.
Very impressive! I agree, tape is always the best way to link fuse
hi dave ive watched you for serveral years and its nice to see you. One of the best informative longest running pyros. Thanks for doing these amazing videos for all this time i love watching ur vids
"a lot of stuff blows up when I'm around" new t-shirt? I think yes
Love Jay's rack design. Epic light.
Sir, you are a one man AkAk! Fantastic job!
And that kids... is how we make clouds!
I use masking tape it burns with the fuses with a better chance of lighting I never had a misfire with it
288 1.75" salutes for $106 thats an amazing deal! Even while buying by the case on consumer salute shells it comes out to like $3 per shell cheapest (like $20 for a 6 pack of salute cans) and those ones are 37 cents per jeeze! I guess buying a permit really pays off.
Dave sure knows how to have fun!
Kellners rocks! I will be there next year!
That Was Awesome Dave !!!
Awesome vid man. The season is here and I can't wait.
Really enjoying your videos displayfireworks1!!!! Keep bringing tha noize!!!!!!

Awesome very good quality salutes!
i enjoy your commentary, thanks for the videos
Lovin that Dave!!
I just subscribed. You are extremely informative and good at what you do. I made my mind up and have a new hobby.
Amazing!
awesome video
That was awesome
Very nice!
Kellner's. $20 for only six 1.75 salutes? That's craziness. It's $ 120.75 for 12 boxes of 24 1.75" salutes from Kellner's right now
25:00 ;) awesome daytime fireworks
"how did you know where to put this bolt" haha love it
Dave your the best bro!
great video, dude!
good job guys! that was awesome
Wow how prices change...... this video was posted 7 years ago and they said they paid 106 bucks a case. I just looked on kellners and they still sell them by the same case count for only 295 bucks a case now. I can get 144 same size salutes from fireart for 157 bucks so kellners would be the better deal. But I will buy from fireart since they gave me contingency storage to get my type 54 license. Love this video everytime I rewatch it.
Nice salutes! I double ziptie each connection and snip the excess plastic "tail" off. Probably had 3 failures out of over 3,000 cakes ever fused together. I'd use tape if I shoot the same day but the shows' are usually fused then stored a week in advance.
Nice little mess you made there with that confetti! :D
coooool that was amazing
now thats one way to make clouds
09:01 "Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way in!"
thank you,
Nice!!!
great video ! :D
awesome
VERY COOL
@kristianthomsen123 You're right, but you can definitely hear the titanium too. I had those things before and I could heard them.... ;)
@kristianthomsen123 I think you are correct. Thanks
Walking the field later, I did find one dud, so it was really only 365 salutes, Dave. :-)
Awsome
cool!
Anther good video dave
realy good video
It's raining salutes! Halleluja it's raining salutes!
thx
i love how he said i got a couple ...... pulls out an entire case ! lol
@kristianthomsen123 I'm not sure I'd want to be shaking contained flash powder. Could be disasterous as it becomes more sensitive when mixed with titanium.
Very F-ing nice!
Hope no one is epileptic. Amazing show.
are you soon coming with another firework project?? i just love them from Norway! :)
@dstnlockwood77 i think so, they are 1.3g shells
because Salutes are more for the boom/bang, rather than a different firework thats for the light show.
its nice to see so many helping out no matter what political views they have they all have this hobby in commen! Im wondering how many contributors were pyro talk members.... my guess is most, also nice job with the consumer tube rack, that has gotta be the best example of recycling (otherwise junk tubes) and turning them into a reliable rack!!! (funny thing is ive seen 1.4 consumer fireworks wrote on some 1.75" salutes that were 1.3. class.) wonder if these also were labeled 1.4g
Nice
Crazy
depends on the size of shells
Strobe light party in the cloud!
ohhhhh thats how clouds are made ^^
crazyyy
ROL that was AWSOME hehe :) SKK.
that's a really good price considering i have seen guys get $60+ a dozen for them.
Funny, but yes bright lights tend to make my eyes and head start spinning at times.
Is there much of a difference between the actual sound of 1.75 versus 3’ Salute?
l like fire works are fun David is the best he can work wiw fire works form Terry
How many of those guys are on pyrotalk.com?
Sometimes the old ways work best. Zip-ties are great for wiring and creates a very neat appearance. But the paper tape looks sloppy and allows the fusing to work better. So, zip-ties under my dash but tape on the fireworks! What was the problem that the zip-ties created? You did a great job!
Will one of these titanium shells fit in a 1.81 tube?
ahh, nice. so there are no issues with a maximum amount of flash composition with the law? here in the sates, an aerial shell/rocket can only have 130 milligrams of explosive content.
it's like a war up there! Fly a rc plane over that
You should do a thousand salutes!
looked like some kind of anti-air artilery!
Instant storm clouds with thunder :D
It looks like lightning in the clouds XD
where can i get some of these? closeest to me is phantom or victory fireworks in wi.
Jezus wat cool
what are the differents? are this classifications?
And that´s how clouds are made =P
it likes beautyfull!
VERY NICE, NEEDS MORE SPACING.
Were can I buy those titanium salutes be free to answer my question plz
Hey Dave. Were you using a 2" gun?
Nice man really liked it,next time with 6 inch?

Go to a class. Get experience. Talk to your local fire marshal to get approved. I thinks that's how it goes. Any case read the link he posted I'm about to lol.
You got yourself an AA gun there
I don't see the answer yet but I believe those salutes are from kellners fireworks they are 120 bucks a case
You mentioned that you got that case of salutes for a little over 100.00 USD, from what supplier did you order them??
do you shoot 1.75" shells out of DR11 tubes?
Looks great. I've been doing shows for quite some years now and have had to make all my salutes. I would love to know where you got those from so I can buy them now instead of making them.

cant be that heard to buy salutes as long you have a ATF license.
How old do you have to be to get your ATF Type 54 license in the United States
Yep Dave those don't look like the ones I was referring to. They had QM leaders on them. Must have been for 2" guns.
i'm sure this has been asked before, where can i purchase these?
