    Hi Dr Prasad, I def understand this approach and it’s benefits, but why is it that a lot of facelift surgeons argue for a facelift with fat transfer more than often. Wouldn’t it be better to also get a facelift and replace volume to the bone and soft tissue with filler. You would repositioning the underlying muscles and fascia of the skin to a youthful position and removing excess skin laxity as well as removing laxity from forehead, eyes, brows, neck etc. Then you could also tackle the bone.

  • @AmiyaPrasadMD

    @AmiyaPrasadMD

    Hi @dencentbeatz794, Fat transfers can't be done at the bone level due to the lack of blood supply in this area, which is needed for grafted fat to remain viable. Grafted fat doesn't feel like bone, and can't add structure like a filler placed atop the bone. Thicker hyaluronic acid fillers at the bone level actually feel like bone, and filler doesn't need a blood supply to remain viable. Also, fat transferring usually requires a minimum of two procedures as 30-70% of grafted fat is metabolized soon after surgery, making the procedure less predictable, more inconvenient, and more costly for patients than non-surgical deep filler placement. I hope this clarifies things for you.

    Hi @anum3702, No, nasolabial folds are caused by age related volume loss. As I recall, you're only 25, or 26, so don't worry about aging so much when you're still very young.

    How long after a facelift should one wait to get structural volumizing? How many syringes for the cheeks, and where exactly would the filler be placed in the cheeks, since it's mostly a soft tissue area?

  • @AmiyaPrasadMD

    @AmiyaPrasadMD

    2 ай бұрын

    Hi @dammar117, Structural Volumizing can be done at the same time as a facelift, but it can also be done after temporary swelling from facelift surgery resolves, so results are more accurate. Structural Volumizing is done under the muscle layer of the cheeks, which is deeper than the soft tissue level, for a more defined appearance, and to avoid migration of filler so results don't look soft and doughy. Dr....as teeth also provide structural support to face........does extracting total 4 premolar teeth from four sides as part of orthodontic treatment lead to less structural support, thus leading to tissue loss and bone loss little bit? Is it true or sort of ...

  • @AmiyaPrasadMD

    Hi @anum3702, No, because you will only notice loss of structural support of teeth if most or all teeth are lost or removed, not just 4 premolars. I hope this clarifies things for you.

  • @AmiyaPrasadMD

    @AmiyaPrasadMD

    8 ай бұрын

    Hi @pnevlud, The brand of filler is not as important as the placement technique. Structural Volumizing, or the Y Lift is a specific procedure that injects filler at the bone level, and underneath the muscle layer, which is particularly important for the cheek area to avoid the doughy/pillowy appearance. Although it's not a surgical procedure, it does require surgical facelift experience to place filler at the bone level. I hope this clarifies things for you.

  • @AmiyaPrasadMD

    Hi @user-xq8pt4qv8c, It's not clear what the cause of your hair loss is. The stress on your body from rapid weight loss can cause temporary hair shedding, which does grow back as stress on your body reduces. However, I would have to examine your scalp to determine if you actively thinning hair due to genetic pattern hair loss. Also, I don't advise taking antibiotics unless they are prescribed by your doctor. I hope this clarifies things for you.

    Greetings doctor sir thanks for the video. I got done my hair transplant 2 and half months back. some weeks before my hair transplant i stopped my gym and all other forms of exercises, and i didn't resumed yet. my gym trainer meets me today and he said i became fat and after examining my physical features he said iam almost obese and i should reduce my fat otherwise i can lead to health issues. he advised me to cut some of my calories and says to add high protien diet. he says doing weight loss while having a balanced diet won't impact hair growth but he is not a doctor. If i focus on weight loss with high protien diet ( without including protien supplements like creatine whey protien etc ) insted of it i eat soy chunks, eggs, milks, peanut butter, chicken, pulses, dry fruits etc and will do moderate level weight training without stressing a lot. i can aim for weight loss slowly and steadily. is this ok to do can i start this soon or do i need to wait for more months.

    Hi@@dheeravabheyshyam, There are many factors that affect hair transplant results, like progressive hair thinning, not using a DHT-blocker, grafts prone to thinning that are more significant than one PRP session with reduced platelet count due to drinking milk. I think you should consider these factors more than a single PRP session that will not impact your long-term transplant results significantly. I hope this clarifies things for you.
