Yugoslavia came close or even beat it in many areas. The two only true rock industries in the world tough, at least in the 70's and 80's. Sadly 99% of the people have never heard of any of the thousands of songs that are on the level of the best stuff made by the most famous English-speaking bands.

I'm from the UK and didn't expect the kids to recognise much of my musical past but was pleasantly surprised as to their knowledge and their understanding of some of the clips. I also loved their energy and reactions. A very enjoyable vid thank you! And props to the kids!

The guy in the black T-Shirt singing 'You Really Got Me' by The Kinks, was really going for it, and has a great voice. I could see him being a lead singer in a rock band.

The lack of The Who, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and Judas Priest is quite alarming...... 😪

Saw Led Zeppelin in 1977, I was 9 yrs old when I went. I still remember that concert as if it were yesterday. I saw them on my birthday in 1977. That summer was the best summer of my life.

As a 73 year old Englishman, and a massive Rock fan, these kids warm my heart, and they know their stuff.

What a great kid Jaxon is, he loves his music.

This doesn't even scratch the surface of great British rock bands. Dire Straits, being my personal favourite rock band of all time, then you still have bands like The Cure, The Smiths, Tears for Fears. It's perceptionally endless.

These teens should dive deep into Queen's catalog and listen to some of their underrated songs including ones where Freddie doesn't sing lead

I remember Lemmy saying in an interview, "I wish we'd sold an album for every bloody t-shirt..." 🤣

I love the kid with the black shirt who sang. Great job…these young people actually knew some of the BANDS.

The really crazy thing about Sex pistols is that they were only active for 3 years, but had such a huge impact and are still listened to today.

Where's Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac (original line up), Depech Mode, Judas Priest?

I find it funny the kids knew Queen and Led Zeppelin. Both bands were famous when I was born. It just goes to show that good music transcends time.

As a pretentious British rock muso who (so suddenly that I didn't even notice it happening!) inexplicably finds himself in his mid fifties, with kids of my own who are all older than this lot, I found myself smiling involuntarily all the way through! But I have *_never_* heard any female describe John Lydon as being 'hot' before... Not in 55 whole years... 😂

Went school with the verve.....what a band. And that Haigh Hall concert....wow what a night

You can't knock the teenagers for not knowing who the artists were from back when, because I've no clue who sings the music I hear nowadays, but we all recognise and appreciate good music.

As an older adult, Jackson always surprises me with how much he knows of the past. He's my favorite, I watch because of him, oh and Sharon lol.

Juliana and Viv were a good match. Vivienne goin' CRAZY, Juliana amazed by her energy and then getting sucked into the AWESOME VOID! Lol Welcome back Ryker and Emma! It would've been awesome if Jaxon and Angel were paired up. They have great chemistry, playing off each other.

I grew up on this Variety and quality of these British Groups. My country produced some awesome groups and awesome supergroup. The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Depeche Mode, The Moody Blues too many awesome acts and bands to name. I'm proud to be British especially with this ocean of talent

I've seen a few of these, and that Jaxon kid really knows his music, fair play to him. You should do a video with him of with more obscure stuff and see what he makes of it, because he's always enthusiastic about whatever you give him. Give him some stuff like Saxon, Supertramp, Yes, Suede, etc. Stuff that wasn't quite as mainstream.
