Damn I didn't realise Klokov could bench so much, 190kg for an easy paused double. Bench is not part of a weightlifter's training program yet there's Klokov benching more than powerlifters. That's insane.

Anybody know why Klokov's feet are staggered in his lifts? Is it something with his anatomy or injury history? interesting when I was watching this

If I recall correctly, it's an anatomy thing. The bar will rotate above him in the lockout because of an injury. If you watch the video "you are not klokov" on it's discussed there.

His shins (limbs bottom of his knees) are so slanted. Can anyone tell me why is that?

That's probably genetic issue not interfering the capability to produce power as much necessary in weightlifting and the other sports. I noticed also that his feet position is not equal in starting position, probably because of some problems like twisted pelvis. Also we can see twisting in the final position in the jerk, same problem exists in Toshiki's Yamamoto lifts btw. So even pro athletes have some muscle and bone imbalances and issues.

@@user-hz2mk8fh7h Dmitry never became a scientist. He got stuck with being a lifter. Not a bad place to be when you're that famous. But being a scientist is a completely different cup of tea. I.e. your brain becomes the opposite of broken, contrary to what happens to you when you're done with lifting.

I am much more of a powerlifter than I am a weightlifter but man, I could watch Klokov lift all day.
Dud literally throwing my deadlift into the air just as a warmup...
