As sketchy as that DLC seemed, it's an idea Capcom never expored. Whatever game Vergil was in, he was just a playable character with no cutscenes or story. We'd get maybe 2-3 cutscenes for the whole game which, honestly, doesn't do justice to the most interesting character in the entire franchise. I now want a full Vergil campaign DLC with separate unique levels, enemies, cutscenes, and whatnot, but for DMC5 Vergil. Why couldn't Capcom have done that while NinjaTheory could?(

Part of me wishes that DmC Devil May Cry was canon to the main series, if only to see Ninja Theory's takes on Dante and Vergil interact with their original counterparts.

@@snowdude8583 try moving with any character in DMC3. it's slow af. DmC combat was the best in the series up until the new DMC5.

I love this dlc

A hollow Dante boss fight would’ve been cool but ninja theory was lap dancing on money

They tryna be infamous so hard with these cutscenes

Worth only dmc5's ending "wet girl's dread"

In my life dmc reboot doesn't exist 🗿

Yes but no, DmC is just a Reboot version of DMC that happened awhile ago

@@gamechanger8908 ohhh that, well after Vergil was defeated by Donte, Vergil went to his father's grave and he did seemingly plummeted into the depths of hell. As he battles through the denizens of Hell, Vergil is met by a Hollow version of himself. The Hollow Vergil takes the Real Vergil's heart and sends him on a quest throughout hell to find Donte and kill him. To which as shown in the video he did

Good boss fights + Great gameplay + AMAZING platforming + Childish Shitty story + Blank, boring, childish repetitive characters = Dmc Devil May Cry .

This is just lazy dlc.. With stupid drawing for cutscenes

I don’t like the game but OG DMC never gave Vergil his own story. You just play as him in the same missions as if you were playing as Dante. Which is lazier in reality?

From my experience, this was my first DMC game ever so I am quite biased towards on how good it is. Say what you want but I kinda have a bond with the game and I enjoy and like it.

Not gonna like i never liked dmc 2013's dante but Vergil was kinda likable but too emo 😂
