It's funny when you realize dante could've just ended dmc4 all by himself: The savior and his order at their best were chumps, they weren't even a threat whatsoever.

There's also a very good representation of the generations passing the torch. Dante saying "I entrust it to you, what you do now is your call" is a beautiful metaphor for the older generation entrusting this world to the other one

Usually in other games, New enemies introduce themselves with a showoff to the protagonist. But in DMC, Dante introduce himself to the new enemies and make them look like ass clowns... 😂😂

There's also the fact that when Vergil did it, the stab was literally immediate following knocking Rebellion out of Dante's hand. Nero however wasn't as quick and even did a twirl with Yamato before attempting the stab. As inexperienced as he was, I bet even DMC3 Dante would've been able to dodge Nero's stab in almost exactly the same way

That scene is honestly great. Like, swap the music for one of Dante's themes and it just becomes another scene of Dante being a badass. It shows how genuinely terrifying Dante must be for the demons.

I like how at 18:09 when Dante is messing around with the lure that the demon is using he is always avoiding their touch since their touch can freeze you, which shows how not only did he know that the demon was their already, he also figured out the trick the demon uses to keep his "prey" easy to devour

Not just that but at the start of the cutscene you can see Dante react to the smell of Dagon before hearing the voice of the lures, foreshadowing the line "You can hide that body... But that smell, Ho boy!"

i think you're misinterpreting: he's saying he wants the yamato so it can stay in the family - we already know dante and vergil are brothers at this point obviously lol. if anything dante is saying nero isn't a member of the family because if dante really wanted it to "stay in the family" he would leave it with nero

@@rexhasta I think you missed how many steps ahead Dante was. He gives him a lesson on the sword's history and then says "I cant Have something of that power floating around now can I? It's gotta stay in the family." and he's looking directly at his nephew when he says it and he says it with a tone that's endearing. Nero claims "I need this" and Dante just replies with "keep it." ? Dante was Power checking Nero to make sure Yamato was safe in his hands, He slapped him in the back of the head for going in for a kill shot after Disarming him, Dante was in total control. The whole game hints relation to Dante and clearly Dante is aware of this to some degree.

I only just realised how when Dante stuck his sword into the ground, he mimicked the ‘revving up’ action Nero did.

as repetitive as this game gets, it has something special about it, it shows the DMC world like no other game, it shows a glimpse of the lives of normal people, which i find highly interesting and would love to see more of it. Also i absolutely love the character models and cutscene animations in this game.

The scene with Dagon, the frog looking demon, is one of my favorites. Beyond what was shown, when you get to a similar boss earlier as Nero you have to play a short section before it jumps out to ambush you, but Dante shows up and already knows it’s there so you go straight into the main boss. It’s a cool and funny way to show how much more experienced he is than Nero.

5:31 I love the fighting family stance . Vergil used it also in DMC1 when he was that demon knight

Pandora is still my favorite weapon out of all of Dantes arsenal. That briefcase is so f*cking cool.

Dante has always been my man crush. He's very handsome and sexy, that swag, that body, that voice, that attitude! Definitely one of the sexiest men I've seen in video games 🥰

Only one of the weapons you get from the bosses in this game makes any sense. A fist weapon from a snake/plant lady who doesn't use her fists, an exploding dart weapon from a fire centaur thing and a transforming artillery weapon that's disguised as a briefcase; that's similar to the what the boss you get it from does during the fight.

That's because the weapon themselves did not originate from that boss. Those devil arms were completely made from a different demon. They were there on the hell gate to power it

@@ilhanthediamondcrafter9767 no, I'm not sure that they were. I may have bent the truth slightly, when I said that they make zero sense. Each weapon was made to mimic a characteristic or a type of damage that each boss supposedly deals out.

@@ilhanthediamondcrafter9767 So that technically means the order killed not only a Gilgamesh, but killed both Pandora and Lucifer aka the two people who have the means to destroy the world in their own ways. Even though Lucifer is a terribly utilized weapon for someone who’s been known for causing destruction and all. Yet nobody was able to get Sparda (Trish gave it to them but still) and Rebellion. Only the Yamato was taken but at that point, the weapon was damaged.

Dmc 4 is my favorite dmc and this just make nostalgic and hyped for no reason.
