pretty sure he didnt throw it on. there is no hand or arm movement indicating a throw, also the way the hat moves in his hand while holding it suggests to me that it is struggeling to get out of dantes grip. when he let go, it actually did jump on his head

He actually kept and use Cerberus till a month before this game. So he had it for more than 20 years. He came back to the island of dmc2 cause there was a demon causing mayhem (the demon was Balrog) so Dante used Cerberus. BUT in a shock moment, Cerberus sadly got broken into pieces. R.I.P Cerberus. (Also he defeats Balrog and that's how he gets that weapon)

Dante was my puberty awakening when I played the first Devil May Cry when I was thirteen. I'm now in my mid-thirties and am so glad he's aged up with me; doesn't feel as weird to call him Daddy now XD

Dante is one of the people who managed to look badass despite being old in games and my 2nd favorite character in games(number one is Gehrman from blood borne)

Which honestly makes sense if you think about it. 3 and 5 are the only ones made from the demons who chose to fight for Dante, every other one was a lucky grab

Nice of the Qliphoth to have a dance playlist, fireworks and stage lights ready for Dante

And basically everything in the weapons menu.

Whenever he gets a new weapon he just messes around... Then again, I would too

Since I was new I was so overwhelmed by how many weapons he got😂

Gotta love that Dante fucks around the weapons he got before giving us the chance to fuck around

Very much enjoy the story turn of Dante having to embrace his demon and Vergil having to separate himself from his demon.

Bit out of the blue but 1:47 reminds me of Ghost trick a classic Capcom game imo. Its when Sissel lay dead in the Junkyard in a very similar position.
