Interestingly a run with some new strats, of which none will be useful to anyone.
The end is impossible for a human to pull off but another problem is that the cycle of the thing around the goal isnt impacted at all unlike like the other cycles, meaning that in a run, the other strats in this tas like the beginning wouldn't improve the current time anyway. even if in theory you somehow managed to get the ending, unless you also managed to be mostly as fast as the tas beforehand, you probably wouldnt get into the goal anyway. So, none of this is of any importance to the real time.
But, a sub 1 is possible, theoretically.
probably the most time ive spent on one level so far, and some of these cuts turned out to be barely possible even with tools, so it was quite nice to see it all work out in the end.

    Just wondering, do you plan to do more DKCR TAS runs? I'd be happy to see some of those!

    Ive seen that somebody is trying to implement scripting (specifically for wii inputs too) into dolphin directly, along with direct value viewing. This would allow for brute forcing of parts of levels. (basically just making a script for the tas to try out every single possible input) this could be really useful for climbing sections. It would for example allow for a nearly definite perfect 1-1 climb, given a good enough script. (even if that might take many hours, all you would have to do is let the script run, and at the end, youll have a savestate with the perfect movement). Ill definitely try that out when its (hopefully soon) implemented. Currently Im not that interested in the game, but more likely than not Il come back to it at some point.
