DJI's new Portable Power Station - The Power 1000, is long overdue. DJI Has been making Action Cameras, Drones, Gimbals, Mics, and a bunch of creative electronics for over 10 years, and the Portable Power Station just makes sense! Not only does it make sense, but this is honestly one of the best little portable power stations we have had in a while. It may be lacking in some features, but it’s simple and absolutely crushes in terms of being both quiet and powerful. Let us know what you think!

    One thing I learned about the efficiency test is that, not only do you have to take in the loss from the inverter and the cooling fan, but the manufacturer also sets a voltage where the unit is designed to shut off in order to protect the battery from over discharge.

Thirty seconds later he’s thanking his sponsor😂😂😂 as he promotes a small projector that he hypes up without ever divulging critical specs like Lumens. Another KZreadr working for the companies of the products they show. Surprise surprise, Whoever can figure out how to make money on KZread without having to be a company spokesman will put all these guys out of business,

It's kinda tacky when they say "our opinions can't be bought" ....yet they aren't paying out of pocket for any of them. They have dissed other channels for doing the same thing....I mean, really....who has $50,000++ to spend on power stations when youtube pays them $25 per video after 10,000 views. I asked myself the same question, but now that I have one: Fast DC charging of drones. 2200W Output (vs 1800). 4000 cycles (vs 3000). WAYYY Quieter. and the case is really nice. Of course I know that the C1000 has the app for monitoring, integrated light and more ports. Weirdly enough DC direct charge and the storage bag sold it for me. I hope it helps!

  • @alexdrum94

    @alexdrum94

    7 күн бұрын

    @@stephanesng the C1000 will also peak at 2200W if you look into the reviews. But there is NOOOOOO way drones will pull this much power. Which honestly confuses me about the aim of the product. Is it supposed to be for the max camera guy who is out and about and need to charge on the go? If so why does noise matter at all? Make the inverters tiny and the heat sync tiny and give me more battery for my dollars. Or maybe it’s for movie. Professionals and you need to stay quiet. Still. Keep the inverter MUCH smaller and give me more battery for my dollar. I just don’t understand the competitive edge this product has or is aiming for. What is the target market? The LFP battery tech is realistically the exact same spec. 3000 vs 4000 cycles over a 10 year period won’t be monitored by anyone nor done by anyone lol. It may be quieter as it’s twice the size… I’d hope to god they fit a bigger heat sync in there. From your comment it basically comes down to is losing 4 120v ports and doubling the size worth the noise trade off. For some it definitely is as they won’t use all the ports. Personally I’d rather have the unit that is cheap to expand to over 2.1 kWh and has 6 120v ports. Some might really value the sound (quiet) levels of the DJI though. Fair enough I suppose.

    OK, I am one of the memebers of the battery industry from China...so, the de-rating at 13% SOC is out of safety consideration for a cell life time. The high rate of charging at 65 % SOC is quite noraml using a high current to charge it.

    Your efficiency tests are poorly designed. Effective battery capacity is a function of temperature and discharge rate. Same with the inverter. You should test it at several static (and resistive) loads and graph the results.

    @@johnsullivan8673 You're right John, Max 2 is around 6 kg heavier BUT offers twice the performance and there is little requirement to purchase additional accessories for Ecoflow unit as most panels and power outs simply plug in. From my perspective these units are designed for RV or camping and UPS is not a priority. Certainly build quality is very good for DJI equipment. The e2000 has 2000w inverter 1920wh lifepo4 and takes in 1200 w of solar for $859 with code $806. Oupes is another one that just crushes the solar market as well. They both offer expandable battery's that take solar input.

    Too bad it does not have more ports and I really don't like that you need an adapter to charge it with a solar panel. You also need an adapter to charge it from a car or to fast charge a drone battery. The need for adapters is annoying. I wish that you could use an app to view device. Also, no light, that is not ok. Dji's first generation product. It has a lot of features and it also lacks many options that competitors products have and their competitors have been doing it for years. The price is good but if you have to buy a bunch of adapters it raises the price and it can be a hassle having to carry adapters around. I hope they come out with an app. Dji can make a good app for sure.
