Last week I posted a picture of the Dji Osmo Pocket on my Bangkok and a lot of people wanted to see the footage. Here it is!
This camera is definitely not designed for this but it can work. It just needs to be soft mounted.

try sofmount the gimbal , like the very first old school frames ...that use to came with some rubber gromits

Mate do you sell the sticky fingers pad here in the UK? I think it will do wonders for me mounting my Hawkeye on my 3” kwad

no sorry, not by themselves
Many Osmo Pocket owners might not know that but you can move the camera head MANUALLY into any desired position and it will stay there.
Looking good. I think it needs a nice mount with the right angle and dampening.

can't remember the gopro weight off the top of my head but the osmo is 118g. they are different cameras. osmo was definitely not designed for this.
Pretty interesting experiment, man. 😊 I was thinking about using the Osmo on a TBS Discovery build I'm going to do, but... Well, it's not exactly a rc gimbal... Wouldn't be possible to tilt it with a transmitter's pot, or to export the image for the FPV feed (with a FPV switcher, of course). Anyway... Merry Christmas, dude! And happy new year! i don't know if the Osmo pocket is the right camera for that. if it crashes it would probably break the camera and you have to be really careful on how you mount it. Happy Holidays my friend!
My quad dipped the other day when I gave it a quick snap roll and when I did a throttle punch. What does it mean?

could be a bad motor or esc

assuming your pids are correct. i believe i had an issue like this a while back, turned on anti gravity and it fixed it
why dont u use fpv mode... then everything is fine!
How do you have better horizon lock with this than I have on my Phantom 4 Pro? Lol

I have been using osmo pocket on a 615mm quad that I took my home made gimbal off of. Just completed a 8 inch prop frame today that uses the osmo. This link should get you to the video of the 615mm quad. all 3 flight modes tested. kzread.info?ar=2&o=U&video_id=a_1ipEXRQYc
Osmo is just a new toy DJI has made and not practical at least for what I do which is baking cookies!
