I recommend just dont run them down the front side of the arms near the camera ,stop after wrapping around the motors 👍

These new strips are really slick, back in the day we had EL Wire which had a very short life before large splotches of the wire would just die.

The EL wire at best is as bright as these at their worst, and these dont need the loud humming driver boxes 👌 i've been having these manufactured for drones, and making newer, better designs all the time 🙌

It's cool but after you stick on the leds and after your done and have to fold up the drone You have to take the leds off or will they fold with it. If not it won't keep sticking

On my mavic Air 2S I secured them with just zip ties on either side of the folding joints was able to cover both of the front arms and the entire body with super bright LED's, and still fold it up and use the case normally, there's a tutorial on my KZread. On my FPV drones that I crash a lot I had to resecure them with a dab of super glue on the carbon fiber (trees are dicks, but concrete is worse😂) My DJI mavic drones are just secured with zip ties and included 3M backing so that the finish of the drone is not damaged and it can be removed without marring the surface 👍 It can help to prep the surface by cleaning with isopropyl alcohol before you apply.

I showed up to Ken's Mindfield last year, met some dudes for the first time who i'd been chatting with online for years, walk into their hotel room....they have 2 drone repair stations setup, and 2 full tower workstations setup...in the hotel room...i was like..."these are my people" 😁

@@KenHeron It's not. He's wanting to know where you got the powersupply, the part that holds the battery for the strips. (Probably for the mini 2)

Does not need to be "an external power supply" You just need to hook it up to a 5v somewhere on your freestyle/race quad. I get not wanting to void your warranty on something like those but we Freestyle guys dont need no stinking warranty

I just released a fully RGB strip, they come in 6S, 3-4S, or 5v. Fuck them warranties, i'm taking my shit apart 🙌

Yes. We've done alot with fpv drones and light painting, but i've seen greats like @itsrueben who use mission planning software to paint massive shapes in the sky 👌

I don't think anyone noticed either of them 😂 you need to go brighter.

My next quad is going full on TRON.

You gave me the idea 💡 to put LEDS on my powervison Original Egg which looks like a UFO.

The mini 2 looks cool, and i finally took my spark on a flight after 4 months

1 have 5 flytron strobon cree lights with 3D printed mounts for the Mini 2.. I never installed them because they are too many grams.. I gave up 💡

Were are my led neon strip I ordered I haven't even gotten am update on it or email how can I contact customer service about my order

The 12v strips only draw 0.2amps, so not very much. A 1500mAh 3S will run for 7-8 hours. They can handle up to 17 volts, and even brighter at 4S.
