DJI Mini 4 Pro + DJI Pocket 3 | ActiveTrack 6.0 Experiment!

So will the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 follow the DJI Mini 4 Pro using ActiveTrack 6.0?
I ventured to find out and along the way recount my frustrating journey that resulted in my purchase of the Pocket 3. I have a feeling it's turning me into a bit of a 'vlogger' - so apologies for the waffle!
A rather cloudy day, but great for flying - just can't wait to get hold of a set of ND filters for the pocket 3 - as you can tell from some of the footage, although it looks 'moody' the Pocket 3 doesn't like to look straight into the light, so needs some sunglasses!
Filmed in 4K 60fps by accident, so if you're watching on a big telly with a rubbish internet connection (like me!) you might want to turn the settings down to 1440p!
Oh - And I don't know what those weird artefacts in the vid are about half way through, but it's happened with both the Pocket 3 and the Mini 4 Pro, and isn't in the raw footage, so must be something to do with Davinci Resolve (Better not be my laptop!).

I've been using Osmo from original launch. Pocket 3 is amazing. Also now using with Mini 4 Pro footage from both is unbelievable. Nice video well done

Thanks! To be fair, the OSMO is a well built solid piece of kit as is everything from DJI, but the non sponsored Insta 360 Flow vids got the better of me. Insta 360 Flow is clever, but plasticky and also the balance in the hand is just weird… very happy I persevered with my Amazon returns tho - just don’t tell Jeff that I got the pocket 3 from DJI direct! 😉

Smart experiment, and as a huge DJI fan, I'm quite surprised it worked as well as it did.

Thanks Michael - yeh - I was genuinely surprised. I think also it would work more effectively if I set the gimbal to fast mode, boosted the exposure and took the bloody thing off Showcase mode after using it for b-roll in my previous vid 😂 🤦,but I was racing the sunset and the conditions were kinda perfect, so there may be a part 2!
Can I inquire as to what mount you are using for your P3 while in the car? Great video!

Thank you! I actually had one of those semi sticky rubber pads that you use on the dashboard to hold sunglasses on the dash. Similar to this : amzn.eu/d/c3dIbjL

that line in mini 4 pro happened to me also in Davinci original log file was ok played in windows as you refered to

Thanks for watching - Yep filming Dlog-M on both exposure was a bit crap on the pocket 3 though - user error! Used the Dji Rec.709 LUT for both tho…
