DIYgravel Rasputitsa 2020

Спорт

What are we meant do when there aren't gravel events to do amid a global pandemic? DIYgravel!
Join Ted on this rip through northern Vermont as he rides the Rasputitsa course on April 18, the actual event day. Take notes, fair viewer, because he's riding course recon, whenever the formal Rasputitsa will take place. During that, he's also donning his fresh bright orange and Ted's going KOM hunting!
Learn the background of DIYgravel. It's about celebrating the original event date on the date itself rather than passing it by. Read all about it and join the fun at www.iamtedking.com/diygravel
Here's Ted's setup for Rasputitsa:
Cannondale SuperX frame
Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels
Rene Herse 700x38 Barlow Pass tires
SRAM eTap AXS drivetrain, 48/35 front, 10-33 rear
Velocio Concept bib shorts and Unity jersey
Saris MRT2
ROKA Matador sunglasses
So much UnTapped in his pocket
As always, thanks to Ansel Dickey of VermontSocial.media for the video

Ted, thank you very much for making these videos. They are very interesting, informative, and motivating. I really enjoy watching them. Regarding the COVID-19 thing, people over 60 with pre-existing medical conditions are most at risk. (I'm 62 with T2D & hypertension) Younger people are much less at risk. Lets keep the elderly safe at home and open the country back up for all who are minimally affected. We must stand up for our rights guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Oppose arbitrary restrictions placed on us by autocratic governors and mayors. If they can't cite the science behind their executive orders restricting our freedom, stand up against them! We are on the cusp of permanently losing our American birthright freedoms.

@@patrickgao7527 Hey guys, my Topstone is in California where I am supposed to be right now. I left it there after my last trip. Traveling with bikes is one of the most annoying parts of this job. So it's a bummer that it's there and I'm here. I'm blessed with many bikes, clearly. I love both bikes. Topstone is a super sturdy bike for some more chundery racing. I loved it at Grinduro and it's cool you can run super wide 650c tires. And the Kingpin makes for such a nice ride over the long haul. The SuperX is a stud. It's fast and more of a pure, straight, speed machine. Hope that helps some!
