Rasputitsa Spring Classic 2023

Спорт

A journey through the Burke Mountain area of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, Rasputitsa has become a staple of Vermont's gravel season. In this video, Phil tackles the epic 100k route, making friends with bolt cutters and hot dog vendors ("nothing says hydration like a hot dog"), drinking everything anyone gives him and finding legs he didn't know he had at this point in the season.

Awesome video and it was great to meet you in person. I am the guy at the 8:05 mark who took a selfie with you and also got to do the pre-ride at The Ranger with you guys. Thanks for promoting the gravel riding and lifestyle in such a fun way. You truly capture the spirit of this community and what gravel riding is all about. By the way, I rolled out with Steve from the VT Monster start line yesterday under a very fun weather…way to go guys! 8

Looked like a well organized event and the snacks were epic. To bad about the lock. That mud looked pretty bad and the hills were superb with the views.. Thanks for the video and take care, Al

This is a good reminder that for my next gravel event (only done one organized event so far, next one is in central Oregon) I should just chill and enjoy the ride. It is a 'race', and first one I pushed myself hard, which was nice to know it can be done. But now... now its time to just have some fun.

There are lots of types of fun, but fun should always be one of the goals!

Love your content. Your video comes through so crisp?!?! What camera(s) are you using? I've been pondering picking up either an Insta 360 camera or a DJI Mini drone to start filming some of my own rides. Any thoughts or suggestions on either from a beginner's standpoint? Thanks again for your content! :)

Lol that's my red CR-V next to your car when you get the bolt cutters out, had no idea. Also missed the hot dog stand. And finished about 20 minutes behind you, but it looks like you had a more relaxed ride than I did, as I skipped the on-ride alcohol. Cheers!
